APPLICATIONS FOR GRANTS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED We’ve been raising a recovery fund to award grants of £1,000 to help small businesses in need. Applications for grants are currently closed. We’re continuing to fundraise to help as many small businesses as possible. To help UK small businesses in need, join our campaign! When we re-open applications, we’ll announce it on this website. Read FAQ's APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA For more information on who will be eligible for a grant once they are available, please see our Eligibility Criteria. The Tide Charity will award grants of £1,000 to as many small businesses in need as possible. Clearly we can’t help all of the businesses in need, but we believe it’s important to do what we can. MAKE A DIFFERENCE - MAKE A DONATION We know people across the UK are passionate about supporting small businesses. As well as supporting your local shops and services in person, you can make a real difference by donating to Tide Charity. We’ll let you know about the businesses awarded grants and 100% of donations will go to applicants. (Tide is covering the management costs of the charity.) Donate here OUR OBJECTIVES ENHANCE THE ECONOMY To support and promote small businesses through the coronavirus recovery. To benefit the UK economy as a whole through improved sustainability, secure jobs and better standards of living. ENHANCE EMPLOYMENT To relieve unemployment by awarding grants to businesses to protect jobs or increase job opportunities. SHARE BEST PRACTICES To share and advance knowledge in how to manage small businesses effectively through training and educational activities. With Oliver at the helm, Tide has grown to become a leader in digital banking for small businesses in the UK. Tide now has over 250,000 members and a 4.0% market share. Oliver is a passionate believer in the Tide community of small businesses, where members help members. LORD JAMIE LINDSAY Lord Lindsay is a member of the House of Lords and takes a keen interest in small business. He’s also been President of the National Trust of Scotland, Chairman of Scottish Quality Salmon and RSPB Scotland, and held other senior leadership positions with environmental organisations. Martyna as a true Tidean is passionate about small business and has volunteered to act as Company Secretary to the Tide Charity.
