Welcome to Ostara, your sustainable lifestyle store in the heart of St Andrews,
Scotland. Named after the spring equinox, Ostara celebrates new beginnings and
conscious living. Our story is intertwined with the vibrant journey of our
owner, Mariela. Half Argentinian, half Spanish, Mariela infuses warmth and
passion into everything she does. A dedicated yoga teacher and translator, she
values balance, mindfulness, and cultural richness. After acquiring the shop,
formerly known as Pretty Things, Mariela transformed it into a space dedicated
to sustainability. Ostara offers ethically sourced products and natural fibrers
that are kind to your skin and the planet. Each item in Ostara is carefully
chosen and reflects our commitment to positive community and environmental
impact. Our great team at Ostara is dedicated to providing exceptional customer
service, ensuring your experience with us is as wonderful as our products.


DELIVERIES & RETURNS

DELIVERIES - UK All deliveries within the UK over £40 are free. Below that
amount there is a standard charge of £4. For in-store collection please
telephone your order to 01334 477651 between 10.00am – 5.00pm. Standard Delivery
to Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man is £3.95 and takes up to 3 working
days. Orders over £100 are free. EUROPE We are presently unable to post to
Europe and the rest of the world for the time being. RETURNS We will issue a
refund for items returned to us, provided they are returned within 14 days of
receipt. The item must be in its original and unused condition, with all tags
still attached and with all original packaging. Please note, for hygiene reasons
earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty. If any product returned to
us is not in fully re-saleable condition we reserve the right to refuse a
refund. Please return items to Pretty Things, 165 South Street, St. Andrews,
KY16 9EE. For our Overseas customers: please make sure when you return goods to
us that your parcel clearly states that it is an unwanted item you are
returning, and duty has already been paid. REFUNDS Once your return is received
we will notify you by email. If the refund is approved, a credit will
automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. If
the refund is not approved we will contact you by email. Please note that sale
items cannot be refunded. EXCHANGES & CHARGES We can exchange your order if you
would prefer a different colour or size, as long as the item in question is in
stock. Please send us an email at sales@shopprettythings.com In the case of
exchanges, a re-delivery charge at our standard rate will apply. We will, of
course, refund delivery charges if there has been an error on our part, or if
the item is damaged or faulty. LOST OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT We cannot accept
responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit. We strongly advise that
a proof of postage certificate (free at your Post Office) is obtained when
returning any item.
