It means victory to all those Sanskrit related notions such as co-existence, world fraternity, world peace, world well-being, mutual co-operation, religious tolerance and others. In other words, may those notions be implemented, may those Sanskrit guided ideas come into practice, may the light of Vedic scholarship give cool shelter to world peace creativity and world fraternity. (Vedic mantra) The appeal for the well being and prosperity of conventional religion, the affectionate king and holy motherland is the message of the Jayatu Sanskritam. Jayatu Sanskritam is a movement that stands for the ideas that each individual, each society, and each nation of the world should be allowed to maintain their existence and self identity, no one should be suppressed in any way, and everyone should be allowed to use his/her identity on the basis of freedom and identity. This is why Jayatu Sanskritam is not a slogan of any language, castes or colour; rather it is an idea and appeal for the prosperity, peace and well being of the humankind. OUR OBJECTIVES This organisation has been established in order to protect, promote and propagate Sanskrit scholarship, and Sanskrit scholarship related Aryan civilisation and to raise voice against the intervention by the followers of the other religions. The objectives of Jayatu Sanskritam are PROMOTION To propagate nationwide about the need and the importance of Sanskrit scholarship and Sanskrit language. ACCELERATION To accelerate the activities like authoring Uttar Mahabharat and other books as initiated by the Golden Jubilee Programme committee TO URGE To urge the government to make Sanskrit compulsory up to secondary school level so as to correctly speak and write in the national language and to develop faith in conventional religion and culture TRANSLATION To translate relevant materials from Sanskrit into Nepali and other languages and vice versa PUBLISHING BOOKS To research and collect materials and publish books and to organise programmes in order to bring cultural renaissance in the country AWARDS To award (Puraskar) for newly publised samskrit book(s)and to honor for contributor of Sanskrit literature (vanmaya).. WE HAVE SANSKRIT LEARNING COURSES The site is fun, informal and with audio resources for all beginners lessons, you should be able to make basic conversation in Sanskrit with only a few hours of learning. What more, all the beginners' lessons are free! The online course is designed to jump start everyone (including total strangers to the language) and get them speaking within a few of lessons.
