It is a solid phone. A little slow but nothing to worry about. The only
detraction would be the Screen-Rotate function. If you like your screen to be
locked vertically, then unlocking or clicking the camera APP will cause the
device to restart. Currently on OS .18. It takes better pictures than a...It is

restart. Currently on OS .18. It takes better pictures than a samsung A10E,
doesn't compete with Apple Camera. It has a built in MicroG which lets you
interface with Google services but the microG is basically a DMZ to keep google
from digging into your device. It lasts all day. The fingerprint reader works
rather well. It provides a lot of value for an affordable phone. The app store
has a rating of security. 10 Stars = will not spy on you or sell your
information. The phone does a lot to put power back into my consumer hands.

I wanted to be able to buy several back up batteries as I often have long days
if I am working. Parts are always in short supply. They are victims of their own
success. Love everything about the concept and indeed the phone, but be advised,
super fast powerbanks and wall chargers deteriorate the...I wanted to be able to

everything about the concept and indeed the phone, but be advised, super fast
powerbanks and wall chargers deteriorate the battery life significantly. Last
few months I was often spending the weekends on the coast. Leaving the house
4am, either staying out all weekend or getting home 7pm. At first the phone was
lasting 26 hours of moderate to heavy usage without charge. Now? With heavy
usage the battery lasts 5 hours or with light usage 8 hours which is still
better than any other phone I ever owned in my life.

Great product
I love this phone. The 2 sim card slots, fingerprint reader, micro SD card slot,
and ease of repair this phone offers for $200 is exceptional. I hope you guys
continue to release models (hopefully with higher specs like the original
teracube) and partner with open source projects like E os,...I love this phone.

Great for getting un-Googled!
I bought this phone expressly for installing /e/ OS. It was a little tricky but
very educational, and got it done. Didn't even try it as a a regular Android
phone, but loving it as an /e/ phone!

I had to toss my old phone because the battery began swelling but it was sealed
inside (and the phone was less than a year old). I tried replacing it, carefully
following steps to heat the sealing glue, delicately remove the screen and so

phone where I can easily replace the battery easily. I refuse to buy another
phone without a replaceable battery. I love this phone because it works and it's
a polished experience. The support team is also great (that's another story).

So glad I bought this phone! Super affordable and does everything I want it to.
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, no glitches yet. The only downside is
the poor camera quality, but I was expecting that given the other reviews I saw
online, and personally don't like to rely on a phone for...So glad I bought this

personally don't like to rely on a phone for photos anyways. I did also have
trouble taking photos with my bank app for mobile depositing, the phone camera
had a really hard time focusing (it took 10 mins to get the photos right) and
most of my photos come out with a blur, difficult to get text clearly. My old
phone (Iphone 6) could take photos like this quickly and easily. Other than that
I love it, love the simple case, and I am using a charger that came with another
product so I didn't have to buy one. Would recommend this!

I am sold on Teracube!
I bought two units during the funding cycle because I liked the idea of having
an identical spare for a reasonable price. I have had no problems with my unit.
I did loan my spare to a friend, who had a problem, but Teracube took care of
it, no questions asked. They paid the postage both ways AND...I bought two units

sent me a brand new unit. It is again in my friend's possession as he's had no
phone for a few weeks now. I highly recommend Teracube. I especially love that
the battery is user replaceable.

so far i am happy
so far i am happy with it its runs smoothly but it has some conectivity issues
with bluetooth, sometimes it breaks out and despight allowing bluetooth to
connect to phone calls it still won't allow bluetooth on phone calls. but the

simplicity and usability. The camera is all right (don't need a great one),
memory seems to be sufficient for now and it had no problem connecting to my
provider here in the Netherlands. The 60 gig internal storage is plenty for my
music (FLAC) listening, photo's and the like. Unfortunately i dropped it on the
pavement about three weeks in, but the return/repair policy is excellent and
within days i received a new unit, while returning the one with the broken
screen was also no effort at all, at an excellent price. Very happy Teracube,
keep it up!

I really purchased this phone because its one of the few phones that is actually
repairable and not held together with a mountain of glue. It's not the most
durable or the fastest or any of that really - but are such things really worth
creating an ocean of e-waste? Generally it's high value,...I really purchased

I received this yesterday. Packaging was fabulous...no plastic ANYWHERE! Was
easy to transfer data from my old phone, saved a TON of time. I recommend this
phone for anyone who is looking for a greener way to be. The case is sturdy and

Really good overall performance!! It feels a little bit underpowered compared
with my previous Moto G5 Plus from 2017 but is almost unnoticeable. I'm looking

could not be restarted. Had very nice contact with the support team, they
exchanged the device, and since then, I am truly happy with it. It has all I
expect from a smartphone: works fast, long-lasting battery (I need to charge
once a week), big memory, up to date operating system. The camera is totally
satisfactory to me. What I like particularly is it comes with very few
pre-installed apps, not all the stuff you cannot delete from commercial models.
I could customize it according to my needs, and it is totally reliable. It is
such a motivating experience to see that a good idea has been put into good
practice, too. Next I buy one for my mother, and I guess my whole family will
follow.

Finally a phone that lasts all day
I've been using mobile phones for 22 years. Around 15 years ago the demand for
more power to support more functionality meant that suddenly phones were no
longer lasting even for an 8 hour work day. Well, finally we are back to having
a phone that lasts over 25 hours on a single charge. It feels...I've been using

support more functionality meant that suddenly phones were no longer lasting
even for an 8 hour work day. Well, finally we are back to having a phone that
lasts over 25 hours on a single charge. It feels miraculous. The phone arrived
promptly in neat packaging and worked out of the box with effortless setup. My
97 apps installed and worked from my old phone with most passwords remembered by
Google as well. I was able to customise every detail of the phone how I want but
with a few improvements. A bigger screen means typing is easier with my clumsy
thumbs. A better camera means force feeding my Facebook friends more photos of
my cat. A super fast processor means listening to Spotify music whilst writing
on Quora whilst also having an argument with an old buddy on WhatsApp. I've used
a lot of Android smart phones. Most of them develop glitches eventually. These
guys promise a four year Warranty. I feel I am in safe hands.

My experience with the Teracube 2e has be exceptionally positive. Paying 1000+
dollars for a phone that isn't better than any other phone in a practical way is
straight up robbery. The Teracube 2e has every practical feature that one could

port. I will most likely only get my phone's from this brand or others in the
sustainable smart phone space for these reasons. I love what this company is
doing for consumers and for the planet. TLDR: just buy a teracube it's
fantastic.

Going on record I love this phone, I have been waiting for this type of phone to
hit the market since the last time I purchased my last smart phone 6 years ago,
and it has a lot to live up to. My last phone was an lg v20. It was a wonderful
phone and ahead of its time. That being said Teracube is a...Going on record I
love this phone, I have been waiting for this type of phone to hit the market
since the last time I purchased my last smart phone 6 years ago, and it has a
lot to live up to. My last phone was an lg v20. It was a wonderful phone and
ahead of its time. That being said Teracube is a worthy replacement. However
Teracube could learn a thing. The Lg V20 has a push button removeable back plate
making battery swaps easy! Also the V20 came stalk with a snap dragon 820
processor that honestly can still keep up even now. However the teracube has a
stalk android experience and isn't bogged down by bloatware, and applications.
When I first unboxed my cube it felt slow; however point of advice for anyone
using this phone, every thing is customizable. It easily speeds up once you
block certain things in the settings such as sharing adds and mobile data
sharing. Go through these things and turn them all off and unlock developer mode
and tinker a little. You'll find that this problem is fixable. Also put it on
battery saver. This is something I could not do with my V20 and it slowed down
my phone quite a bit. All those Lg apps you cant delete really cause problems.
Not with Teracube. Now one thing I need to address are the speakers, they are
not very good and I use speaker phone a lot. I recommend using Bluetooth
speakers. The Lg V20 has it beat, but Android 10 fixes a lot of issues with
Bluetooth and you don't really need it. One thing that Teracube has is insane
battery life I am very impressed. As it sits the functionality and freedom and
the updates make this phone in my opinion the best value on the market. So the
only things I can really criticize for the cost is the difficult to remove
backing. Please take note Teracube the easier it is to remove the back and swap
the battery the better. Also another positive is the dual sim card slot. This is
the first time I have had a phone that it was easy to put two sim cards and was
this easy to do so. I love that especially for travel! Another thing that is
difficult is that it doesnt work well with pdpower type c charging. This is not
an issue if you can easily swap with another battery but again I hate trying to
remove the back with my finger nails. Pressure pop off button is needed!
Regardless this phone delivers as an easy to repair and update and possibly
tinker with smart phone for $200. I am very impressed and am one happy customer
Teracube. Your 2E is awesome and I will have it for years to come! Take what I
say about the Lg V20 the next time you design the next model and i'll buy it.
But don't come out with it to soon cause I want to use this phone for a few
years! I hope you guys are here to stay cause you guys did a good job with this
phone!

the battery life is really good. Its a great choice for the price! Also,
appreciate the environment friendly approach that they have taken. Overall they
seems to be providing a phone for our needs and not hooking us to...Had a good

Best phone I've owned so far.
Well, maybe not literally the best phone I've owned, but certainly the one
that's made me the happiest to own. It's not as fancy as the various flagship
phones (doesn't have as nice a camera, etc.) But it's a legit solid phone, and
also comes with features that I've never seen on a phone before....Well, maybe

features that I've never seen on a phone before. For example, an option to limit
charging to some % of full, to help extend the battery life. The version of
Android on it is super clean (no weird pre-installed ****). Everything runs
smoothly. And it's awesome to know that that the phone is intended to be used
for a long time, is backed by a 4-year warranty, and has cheap repairs and
battery replacements. Definitely a phone worth getting and a company worth
supporting.

Made to work, and keep on working.
I have had the phone for a couple of months now. I have noticed that the
processor is a bit sluggish it changing and loading apps, but am impressed by
the battery life. I am actually looking forward to the day something breaks so I
can repair it. I have rebuilt phones in the past and am looking...I have had the

that some of the most basic apps no longer worked. However, I am thoroughly
pleased with the Teracube 2E. Knowing I purchased something from a company with
ethical and environmental principles made my decision easier. The phone is
great. Large screen, good battery life and I have not even come close to maxing
out the 4GB of RAM (mind you I do not do much gaming on my phone).

Works Great
Teracube 2e
It is a solid phone. A little slow but nothing to worry about. The only
detraction would be the Screen-Rotate function. If you like your screen to be
locked vertically, then unlocking or clicking the camera APP will cause the
device to restart. Currently on OS .18. It takes better pictures than a samsung
A10E, doesn't compete with Apple Camera. It has a built in MicroG which lets you
interface with Google services but the microG is basically a DMZ to keep google
from digging into your device. It lasts all day. The fingerprint reader works
rather well. It provides a lot of value for an affordable phone. The app store
has a rating of security. 10 Stars = will not spy on you or sell your
information. The phone does a lot to put power back into my consumer hands.

Had mine over 6 months now

I wanted to be able to buy several back up batteries as I often have long days
if I am working. Parts are always in short supply. They are victims of their own
success. Love everything about the concept and indeed the phone, but be advised,
super fast powerbanks and wall chargers deteriorate the battery life
significantly. Last few months I was often spending the weekends on the coast.
Leaving the house 4am, either staying out all weekend or getting home 7pm. At
first the phone was lasting 26 hours of moderate to heavy usage without charge.
Now? With heavy usage the battery lasts 5 hours or with light usage 8 hours
which is still better than any other phone I ever owned in my life.

I love this phone. The 2 sim card slots, fingerprint reader, micro SD card slot,
and ease of repair this phone offers for $200 is exceptional. I hope you guys
continue to release models (hopefully with higher specs like the original
teracube) and partner with open source projects like E os, lineageOS, and maybe
in the future calyx OS.

very educational, and got it done. Didn't even try it as a a regular Android
phone, but loving it as an /e/ phone!

Excellent Phone

I had to toss my old phone because the battery began swelling but it was sealed
inside (and the phone was less than a year old). I tried replacing it, carefully
following steps to heat the sealing glue, delicately remove the screen and so
on. What a terrible experience. I ended up damaging the screen and it was very
frustrating. I want a phone where I can easily replace the battery easily. I
refuse to buy another phone without a replaceable battery. I love this phone
because it works and it's a polished experience. The support team is also great
(that's another story). Great experience all around!

So glad I bought this phone! Super affordable and does everything I want it to.
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, no glitches yet. The only downside is
the poor camera quality, but I was expecting that given the other reviews I saw
online, and personally don't like to rely on a phone for photos anyways. I did
also have trouble taking photos with my bank app for mobile depositing, the
phone camera had a really hard time focusing (it took 10 mins to get the photos
right) and most of my photos come out with a blur, difficult to get text
clearly. My old phone (Iphone 6) could take photos like this quickly and easily.
Other than that I love it, love the simple case, and I am using a charger that
came with another product so I didn't have to buy one. Would recommend this!

I am sold on Teracube!

I bought two units during the funding cycle because I liked the idea of having
an identical spare for a reasonable price. I have had no problems with my unit.
I did loan my spare to a friend, who had a problem, but Teracube took care of
it, no questions asked. They paid the postage both ways AND instead of repairing
the old unit, sent me a brand new unit. It is again in my friend's possession as
he's had no phone for a few weeks now. I highly recommend Teracube. I especially
love that the battery is user replaceable.

so far i am happy

so far i am happy with it its runs smoothly but it has some conectivity issues
with bluetooth, sometimes it breaks out and despight allowing bluetooth to
connect to phone calls it still won't allow bluetooth on phone calls. but the
phone is a relitivly new product hopefully that issue can be resolved. Battery
life is amazing i havn't charged it in almost 2 days and its at 50% so that is
really cool. The finger print identification is reliable. it is faster than i
was expecting for a 200 doller phone so i am prety happy with that. and i like
the "night time charging" mode. so basicly...so far so good!

Fine budget phone
Teracube
Coming from a Sony Xperia SP i was not disappointed. My main motivation for
Teracube was a user-friendly policy; support for root, replaceable battery and
no bloatware. In this, Teracube 2e succeeded! It's a typical Android smartphone
in it's simplicity and usability. The camera is all right (don't need a great
one), memory seems to be sufficient for now and it had no problem connecting to
my provider here in the Netherlands. The 60 gig internal storage is plenty for
my music (FLAC) listening, photo's and the like. Unfortunately i dropped it on
the pavement about three weeks in, but the return/repair policy is excellent and
within days i received a new unit, while returning the one with the broken
screen was also no effort at all, at an excellent price. Very happy Teracube,
keep it up!

Reduces E-Waste by Being Repairable

I really purchased this phone because its one of the few phones that is actually
repairable and not held together with a mountain of glue. It's not the most
durable or the fastest or any of that really - but are such things really worth
creating an ocean of e-waste? Generally it's high value, which so long as it can
maintain its price point and modular repairability, should prove worth it in the
long run.

Great new phone!

I received this yesterday. Packaging was fabulous...no plastic ANYWHERE! Was
easy to transfer data from my old phone, saved a TON of time. I recommend this
phone for anyone who is looking for a greener way to be. The case is sturdy and
interface clear and easy to read. I really appreciated that the screen protector
was pre-installed. All I had to do was peel off the film and it was ready to go.
Looking forward to taking my Teracube on vacation with me and discovering more
features.

Really good phone

Really good overall performance!! It feels a little bit underpowered compared
with my previous Moto G5 Plus from 2017 but is almost unnoticeable. I'm looking
forward to your Android 11 update and to keep your support toward developers and
custom ROMs.

Recommend it to my friends and family

Looking for a more sustainable smartphone, I discovered teracube 2e. Liked the
idea of crowdfunding and thought the risk was comparatively low with a very fair
price. The first device I received in March 2021. It didn't work properly, kept
shutting down and could not be restarted. Had very nice contact with the support
team, they exchanged the device, and since then, I am truly happy with it. It
has all I expect from a smartphone: works fast, long-lasting battery (I need to
charge once a week), big memory, up to date operating system. The camera is
totally satisfactory to me. What I like particularly is it comes with very few
pre-installed apps, not all the stuff you cannot delete from commercial models.
I could customize it according to my needs, and it is totally reliable. It is
such a motivating experience to see that a good idea has been put into good
practice, too. Next I buy one for my mother, and I guess my whole family will
follow.

Finally a phone that lasts all day
Teracube 2e
I've been using mobile phones for 22 years. Around 15 years ago the demand for
more power to support more functionality meant that suddenly phones were no
longer lasting even for an 8 hour work day. Well, finally we are back to having
a phone that lasts over 25 hours on a single charge. It feels miraculous. The
phone arrived promptly in neat packaging and worked out of the box with
effortless setup. My 97 apps installed and worked from my old phone with most
passwords remembered by Google as well. I was able to customise every detail of
the phone how I want but with a few improvements. A bigger screen means typing
is easier with my clumsy thumbs. A better camera means force feeding my Facebook
friends more photos of my cat. A super fast processor means listening to Spotify
music whilst writing on Quora whilst also having an argument with an old buddy
on WhatsApp. I've used a lot of Android smart phones. Most of them develop
glitches eventually. These guys promise a four year Warranty. I feel I am in
safe hands.

A phone for grown ups

My experience with the Teracube 2e has be exceptionally positive. Paying 1000+
dollars for a phone that isn't better than any other phone in a practical way is
straight up robbery. The Teracube 2e has every practical feature that one could
ask for such as a finger print scanner, removable battery, a headphone jack and
a type C port. I will most likely only get my phone's from this brand or others
in the sustainable smart phone space for these reasons. I love what this company
is doing for consumers and for the planet. TLDR: just buy a teracube it's
fantastic.

Going on record I love this phone, I have been waiting for this type of phone to
hit the market since the last time I purchased my last smart phone 6 years ago,
and it has a lot to live up to. My last phone was an lg v20. It was a wonderful
phone and ahead of its time. That being said Teracube is a worthy replacement.
However Teracube could learn a thing. The Lg V20 has a push button removeable
back plate making battery swaps easy! Also the V20 came stalk with a snap dragon
820 processor that honestly can still keep up even now. However the teracube has
a stalk android experience and isn't bogged down by bloatware, and applications.
When I first unboxed my cube it felt slow; however point of advice for anyone
using this phone, every thing is customizable. It easily speeds up once you
block certain things in the settings such as sharing adds and mobile data
sharing. Go through these things and turn them all off and unlock developer mode
and tinker a little. You'll find that this problem is fixable. Also put it on
battery saver. This is something I could not do with my V20 and it slowed down
my phone quite a bit. All those Lg apps you cant delete really cause problems.
Not with Teracube. Now one thing I need to address are the speakers, they are
not very good and I use speaker phone a lot. I recommend using Bluetooth
speakers. The Lg V20 has it beat, but Android 10 fixes a lot of issues with
Bluetooth and you don't really need it. One thing that Teracube has is insane
battery life I am very impressed. As it sits the functionality and freedom and
the updates make this phone in my opinion the best value on the market. So the
only things I can really criticize for the cost is the difficult to remove
backing. Please take note Teracube the easier it is to remove the back and swap
the battery the better. Also another positive is the dual sim card slot. This is
the first time I have had a phone that it was easy to put two sim cards and was
this easy to do so. I love that especially for travel! Another thing that is
difficult is that it doesnt work well with pdpower type c charging. This is not
an issue if you can easily swap with another battery but again I hate trying to
remove the back with my finger nails. Pressure pop off button is needed!
Regardless this phone delivers as an easy to repair and update and possibly
tinker with smart phone for $200. I am very impressed and am one happy customer
Teracube. Your 2E is awesome and I will have it for years to come! Take what I
say about the Lg V20 the next time you design the next model and i'll buy it.
But don't come out with it to soon cause I want to use this phone for a few
years! I hope you guys are here to stay cause you guys did a good job with this
phone!

Great phone! And totally worth the price

Had a good experience so far. The fingerprint reader works nicely and I must say
the battery life is really good. Its a great choice for the price! Also,
appreciate the environment friendly approach that they have taken. Overall they
seems to be providing a phone for our needs and not hooking us to keep draining

Best phone I've owned so far.

Well, maybe not literally the best phone I've owned, but certainly the one
that's made me the happiest to own. It's not as fancy as the various flagship
phones (doesn't have as nice a camera, etc.) But it's a legit solid phone, and
also comes with features that I've never seen on a phone before. For example, an
option to limit charging to some % of full, to help extend the battery life. The
version of Android on it is super clean (no weird pre-installed ****).
Everything runs smoothly. And it's awesome to know that that the phone is
intended to be used for a long time, is backed by a 4-year warranty, and has
cheap repairs and battery replacements. Definitely a phone worth getting and a
company worth supporting.

I have had the phone for a couple of months now. I have noticed that the
processor is a bit sluggish it changing and loading apps, but am impressed by
the battery life. I am actually looking forward to the day something breaks so I
can repair it. I have rebuilt phones in the past and am looking forward to not
using a hear gun on the screen. Thank terracube. I am planning on buying couple
more for gifts, so my friends always have a phone that's works, and can be
repaired.

Great Phone

To be honest, I was really reluctant to get a new phone, but my previous phone
was so out of date that some of the most basic apps no longer worked. However, I
am thoroughly pleased with the Teracube 2E. Knowing I purchased something from a
company with ethical and environmental principles made my decision easier. The
phone is great. Large screen, good battery life and I have not even come close
to maxing out the 4GB of RAM (mind you I do not do much gaming on my phone).
