On the day of the move, I was scheduled for a 2:00pm move on June 3rd. However, on that day they had mechanical issues with the truck so the move didn't begin until 6pm. For that, they rectified it by including 2 more movers at no extra cost!! But, at 6pm we had severe rain, which was very scary because they had to move very heavy items (refrigerator, washer and dryer) on a now slippery ladder. They still able to get the job done in a timely manner. They were very professional. I want to give a personal shout out to 3 of the movers. They moved VERY quickly and were very concerned with where the rooms they placed my things, and setting up my bedroom. There were two movers that dragged and stood around and moved one very light item one at a time. That is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Plus the mover with the dreads in the ponytail, broke the foot on my tv. Now I know that some damage during a move is inevitable. This is not my first rodeo. But I was upset when I noticed it because I asked that they place the box down upside down because I didn't want the feet to get broken. That didn't happen. There was also a small gash in the drywall of my new place. I get it. The halls of my new place are very narrow. I would like to be compensated for those damages. I left an inquiry on their website (after hours) and was contacted early next morning. The gentleman asked about the move, destinations and location distances, provided me with a quote (an amazing quote I might add) and was able to get me scheduled for the date and time that was perfect for me. He sent me a copy of the contract to review via email and advised 24hr before the move I would be contacted for verification. I was contacted 24hr before and day of the move. The gentlemen arrived, one to view the apartment location/things needed to be moved and the other moved the truck into a suitable location to allow traffic in the complex to pass. There was no nonsense in their process, I signed the contract, they began moving everything strategically to protect my belongings and to make the job in as minimal trips as possible. I have some heavy furniture and do not exactly live in the most ideal layout for a move, however, these guys tackled it like pros. Before heading to the drop off destination, they verified the address and location type (home). During the unload, they made sure to place belongings where I had advised and were able to get the truck unloaded rather quickly. What I thought may have been a 3.5hr move was only 2.5hrs! When I called them I spoke to Chole and she explained every charge in detail and send me a quote over email which was same as what I was told over phone. When I booked their service they were flexible and adjusted their shift time to 10 am from 8 am as that was our requirement. The crew was at our apartment at 9.45 am and waited patiently till 10 am before they begin their work. The two men team of Alex and Jose was accompanied by their supervisor Robert.. Every furniture piece was wrapped in the carpet and lifted very carefully and put in the truck. They were expert in dismantling the furniture and putting all pieces in truck. The dryer and washer was also disconnected and lifted very carefully and put in the truck. The whole process took them about one and half hour. In 20 minutes they were at our new home. Once at our new home, each piece was treated with same care and placed where we wanted. Once we gave them our approval then only they went for the next piece of furniture We are having a two story home and whatever furniture was to be placed on 2nd floor was lifted very carefully on the stairs and it never touched any wall or stairs. The dryer and washer were fixed in the end. I just asked Robert whether he can help us in cleaning the vent of the dryer and he went out of his way to do the same. He told me what to buy from near by home depot and once I got the same he connected the kit and removed all the lint from the vent thereby making our home fire-free. Although the job took 10 minutes more than 4 hours he charged us only for 4 hours.
