Close ERIC LORD I served in the U.S. Army from 2004 to 2008 after which I received my A.A.S. in Natural Resources Conservation followed by a B.S. in Aquatics and Fisheries Science. While going to college I participated in projects ranging from invasive species removal and cutting hiking trails to wetland construction and fisheries research from the state of Arizona to the state of Massachusetts. While working on my Bachelor’s at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY I started an internship with a lake management consultant company working on low cost, environmental friendly management of invasive aquatic plants and lakeshore habitat improvement which lead to a full time position. Eventually I took a position with the U.S. Geological Survey as a biologist and participated in research focused on aquatic invasive species and endangered species. I have also worked several positions in the natural resource field with various state agencies and universities. I joined Earthworks in February of 2019 and have enjoyed my time here. I am happy to part of a company that works to prevent environmental issues such as pollution and sedimentation. Previous experience has taught me that prevention is often the best and most cost-effective measure in keeping our aquatic ecosystems healthy. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. We really like to go camping and exploring the Minnesota rivers, especially the St. Croix River!
