Description

  Where it all started…Our Jacks Flat Sandal is our signature sandal - the
design that put us on the map in the early 1960s.  Made of a soft, supple
leather that ages with wear it is no wonder why it's been a classic for almost
60 years. Iconic Details: Our Jacks Flat showcases our signature whip stitch &
rondelle, both details that are done by hand on each pair.  Due to this
craftsmanship, no pair of Jacks is exactly the same!  Leather Footbed: In an ode
to the first Jacks made in Italy years ago all of our Jacks Flat Sandals are
made with leather footbeds & stitched to the outsole.  Over time the natural
oils of the foot will change the color of the footbed - this is a detail unique
to Jacks!

WOULD BUY IN EVERY COLOR

I purchased an 81/2 and I typically wear an 8. They fit great. I also purchased
a size 8 in the classic jack in the pink color. The size 8 fit as well, but if
you are on the fence size up. The 8 puts my foot right on the edge. The width is
perfect. I have a narrow foot and was concerned sizing up w...ould make the shoe
fit sloppy. But it did not. I really love my purchase. This was my first
purchase and I have ordered 5 pairs since they are on sale. I am referring all
my Friends.

KINDA DISAPPOINTED...

I'm usually in between a 9 and a 9.5 so the reviews said to size up if you're in
between sizes. The box I received said 9.5 but I'm pretty sure the shoes
themselves were a size 9. I put them on and the leather felt a little snug. I
figured they would stretch out eventually. I don't have a wide foot ...but I
also don't have a narrow foot. After wearing them to work before changing into
my heels, I looked under the leather part and it says 9M written in pen. I wish
I didn't throw away the box so I could send them back for the correct size. I
really needed them for an event next week...

I have worn these sandals since the 1960's and STILL love them. It is too bad
that they are not 100% leather today. The soles are of a man made material - and
as a result after much wearing one sandal tends to crack on the sole - and they
tend to stretch out, too. But they still look great - and are very comfortable.
I am happy that some great things do not die out!
