We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who donated to the 2024 Unity Campaign, SOAR raised $75,531.73 through 51 donors. Support SOAR SOAR GROCERY PROGRAM SOAR HELPING VETERANS WHO WE ARE SOAR supports qualifying seniors with the financial resources and services they need to live healthier, safer, more comfortable lives. We welcome requests from seniors who qualify, and strive to find the solutions that will improve their quality of life. Are you in need of assistance? Assistance Request HOW WE SERVE Navigating the complex medical and social system is challenging for those seniors who live on a fixed income. We partner with local businesses and organizations to meet those needs. Our Partners As a social worker one of my major roles is to remove barriers for people I work with. It is hard for most of us to imagine not being able to replace a bed with exposed coils or pay a co-pay for medication. With the help of SOAR those barriers were removed quickly and the gratitude of those served will be something I will not likely forget. SOAR is quick to respond to referrals and goes above and beyond to help, even with the most complex situations. Frederick County is a better place because of the impact SOAR has had on seniors in our community.
