WHAT USERNAME SHOULD I USE FOR LOGIN?

Your username is assigned to you by Best Buy. Best Buy employees and CWs can use
their employee ID or email address as username. Vendor partners can use your
Best Buy provided Vendor ID (e.g. V2345678)
I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. HOW DO I RESET IT?

You can self-serve reset your password only when you are either in a Best Buy
campus or store. Click (forgot my password) from the login page to get started.
When out of network, please call BBY Helpdesk for assistance. Vendor users
please contact your VSA for assistance.
WHY AM I PROMPTED FOR CREDENTIALS FOR SOME APPS AND NOT OTHERS?

For the apps that you access through login page, you will be prompted for
credentials on the first application you access in a browser tab. You will not
be required to login again for as long as you are active in the logged in
session in that same browser window. If prompted for credentials again, it could
either be because you were idle with any of your logged in applications for a
longer period or the application itself is not allowed for single-sign-on due to
security reasons.
SHOULD I BOOKMARK THIS PAGE FOR EASY ACCESS TO APPLICATIONS?

You should never bookmark this login page but always bookmark the actual
application friendly URL. This login page URL is bound to change in the future
and this bookmarking it can be disruptive.
WHY DO I NOT SEE FORGOT PASSWORD LINK IN LOGIN PAGE FOR ALL APPLICATIONS BUT
ONLY FOR  CERTAIN?

At present, you can self-service reset your password only when you are either in
a Best Buy campus or store. So the link is available only while accessing
applications that are internal to Best Buy network and disabled for applications
that can be accessed over internet
HOW MANY UNSUCCESSFUL LOGIN ATTEMPTS ARE ALLOWED?

Six continuous unsuccessful login attempts are allowed before which your account
gets soft locked for a brief period
MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN LOCKED AND HOW DO I UNLOCK IT?

Please allow 30 mins to automatically unlock your account. Alternatively, a
password reset will immediately unlock your account.
CAN MY ADMIN SEE MY LOGIN INFORMATION?

Your helpdesk administrator can see your username, but he or she does not have
access to your password.
