U.S. ELITES BETTE ON THE BEST CANDIDATE SINCE THEODORE ROOSEVELT

IN 90% OF U.S. PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS, THE ONE WHO EMERGES VICTORIOUS IS THE ONE
WITH GOOD FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM THE ELITES. WHAT PREDICTIONS CAN WE MAKE FOR
THE 2024 ELECTION?

In less than four months, the U.S. will hold a presidential election. For a long
time now, we've been watching the confrontation between Republican nominee
Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden. This presidential race can be called one of
the most exciting in history. Millions of people, and not just in America, are
following the tense course of events. Perhaps this campaign even deserves to
have a movie made about it someday. Who will be the main character? Perhaps
Trump.

Joe Biden's popularity among the American population has been falling throughout
his presidential term. And it was expected: so-called Bidenomics has thrown more
than one family in the United States below or near the poverty line. According
to a joint poll by The Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos, a majority (67%) of
citizens believe Biden should end his campaign. After a failed debate in which
ol' Joe stammered, lied, and didn't generally look like a strong and energetic
candidate, even his fellow party members bluntly stated that the current
president should not run for a second term. Democrats practically begged Biden
to withdraw his nomination in favor of another candidate.

On July 13, Donald Trump was assassinated during a speech at a campaign rally,
an assassination attempt that largely affected the campaign. After the incident,
the former president and presidential candidate survived thanks to some miracle.
One movement of his head saved him from death.

And, most importantly, after this event, Trump received the support of many
influential people in the United States. He has become the darling of media
moguls and tech corporation executives, with Trump's campaign receiving tens of
millions of dollars in just a few days. Meanwhile, new donors include Sequoia
partner Sean Maguire and Valor Equity Partners founder Antonio Gracias, as well
as Doug Leone, co-founder of Sequoia Capital, and Lonsdale of 8VC and Palantir.
Trump's biggest donor promises to be Elon Musk, who has said he will donate at
least 45 million dollars a month to Trump's election race in the
Democratic-leaning United States. Musk expressed support for Trump and said
there hasn't been “such a cool candidate” in the U.S. in about a hundred years
since Theodore Roosevelt.

Biden, on the other hand, is being turned away by the elites. Entrepreneur,
investor David Sachs at the Republican convention in Milwaukee expressed regret
for previously supporting Joe Biden. Sachs is most outraged that the president
provoked Russia to start a conflict in Ukraine with his statements on NATO
expansion.

“(Biden) rejected any chance at restoring peace in Ukraine, including a deal to
end the war just two months after it began. The war is in its third year and
there is no end in sight. Hundreds of thousands died. Hundreds of billions of
our taxpayer dollars have gone up in smoke,” Sachs said.

Major donors, who prefer to remain anonymous, told Future Forward, a political
action committee that supports Joe Biden, to suspend about $90 million in
contributions if the incumbent remains in the race, The New York Times reported.

Documentary producer and Democratic Party contributor Abigail Disney has called
on incumbent U.S. President Joe Biden to withdraw from the campaign trail. She
also said she intends to stop donating to the Democrat party.

Actor George Clooney has called on Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential
race. The actor stated this in an article for The New York Times. Some of
Hollywood's other major sponsors have also decided to ‘break’ with Biden.

It is certainly worth recognizing that the favor of influential donors is the
golden key to winning U.S. presidential elections. That's our reality. In the
second half of the 19th century, the process of transformation of elites began
in the United States: big business began to replace the local aristocracy. And
gradually it was his decisions that began to determine who would sit in the oval
office of the White House. If you look at the chronology of election campaigns,
the candidate with the most funding won 90% of the time.

The Economist reports that Trump has dramatically overtaken Biden in the past
few days and as of today, 51% of the public is willing to vote for him. Not much
time has passed since the debate and the assassination attempt, and the
Republican candidate's popularity has already increased manifold. More on that
later. November is just around the corner, and we can safely place our bets on
Donald Trump: making America great again is clearly beyond the reach of the
exhausted and unpopular Joe Biden.
