OUR MISSION

At Pleasant Beginnings, our mission is to provide essential services and support
to individuals and families in need. We strive to empower those we serve to
achieve self-sufficiency and improve their overall quality of life.

Pleasant Beginnings Inc.  is a 501 (c)(3) community development organization
with a mission to end chronic homelessness and maintain stable housing. 

Pleasant Beginnings helps families who suffer from  violence, mental health, and
homelessness  by helping them rebuild their lives. We provide high-quality case
management, and  life coaching. We aim to help families begin a journey that
leads away from violence and towards safety, security, and independence. We
believe that everyone has the potential and strength to overcome difficult life
circumstances and to accomplish goals that will lead to an enhanced quality of
life. We help rebuild lives by providing them resources for  a safe place to
stay, counseling, support groups, therapy, and other resources they need to
survive and thrive.

OUR HISTORY

Pleasant Beginnings  was founded in 2021 by a minority individual of the
community of Los Angeles  who recognized the need for an organization to
dedicate more than housing  to help homeless individuals obtain and maintain
housing. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds
of individuals each year.

OUR VISION

Our vision is for sustainable communities free from homelessness and poverty. To
provide innovative solutions to  making individuals understand that what they
have been through will not determine who they will become.
