TRICARE Home Delivery and retail network pharmacies for all beneficiaries,
except active duty service members, dependent survivors of active duty service
members, and medically retired service members and their dependents.

USE REAL-TIME PRESCRIPTION BENEFIT FOR A BETTER PATIENT EXPERIENCE.

In the fast-paced world of healthcare, having actionable patient-specific data
at your fingertips can improve patient health and satisfaction.

To get started, contact your electronic medical records (EMR) provider. Your EMR
provider will be able to turn on and make Real Time Prescription Benefit an
active part of your prescribing workflow.


WHAT IS REAL-TIME PRESCRIPTION BENEFIT?

Real-Time Prescription Benefit delivers TRICARE patient-specific pharmacy
benefit information into the physician’s prescribing workflow, the Electronic
Health Record (EHR).

Make informed decisions and discuss therapeutic options with your TRICARE
patients.


HOW DOES IT WORK?

Patient-specific data will be transmitted in less than two seconds to providers
who have Real-Time Prescription Benefit functionality embedded in their
Electronic Health Record.

Providers using Real-Time Prescription Benefit have access to:

 * Coverage alerts
 * Therapeutic options
 * Pharmacy choices
 * Patient out-of-pocket costs
 * Prior authorization requirements

With the Scriptvision® Physician mobile app, physicians can quickly access their
patients’ pharmacy benefit information, directly on their iOS mobile device.
