ABOUT ME

I am a highly dedicated student-athlete who puts a high level of commitment to
both my sports and academic efforts.  My goal is to play competitive college
soccer when I graduate in 2023.  The pandemic has presented a challenge with
some of the most significant lock-downs in the world here in Toronto.  In spite
of that, I kept a commitment to daily training and practice virtually with my
team and on my own during those difficult months. This has carried me through as
we got back to normal and it has translated to individual and team success on
the field including our recent PISL (Provincial Indoor Soccer League)
Championship, tournament and outdoor CSL league success.

Though I’ve played in a striker capacity in the past, I’ve been predominantly
focussed in the past year as a midfielder in both classic CM and CDM roles. I
really enjoy my role in helping influence the pace and tempo of the game.  As a
midfielder it has allowed me to think strategically about the game, anticipating
where the play is going at all times.  I believe I have a strong soccer IQ in
this regard.   I consider myself a high energy player with excellent stamina and
my midfielder role where I’m quickly switching from offensive to defensive fits
my style. 

 

I've been the starting center mid on my Neil McNeil high school team in all
years of school. In terms of club soccer, for the past 3 years, I’ve played
year-round for East York Elite 2005 team which plays in the CSL. This is an
Ontario multi-region league made up of promoted teams from individual leagues,
of which East York is part of the largest and most competitive Toronto Soccer
Association (TSA). Previous to that I was part of the Cherry Beach 2005 TSA team
and was a captain and voted most valuable player in 2019. As a youth, I was
selected for TSA District Development Team identified as one of the top players
across Toronto and stayed in the program for the allotted 2 years.  I was also
invited and participated in the Ontario Provincial Team tryouts.   .  



Though my main passion is soccer I also played this past year on a travel hockey
team as a goalie and participate casually in a variety of other sports like golf
as time permits.  I'd welcome starting a conversation about your soccer program.

in 2022-23) based here in Toronto Canada who competes in the CSL for the East
