only collect personal information that is necessary to provide you with our
various services. Wherever possible, we indicate both mandatory and optional
fields.

 * When you contact us (by email, telephone, mail, through our Site chat tool,
   or in person), we may collect your name, email address, address and telephone
   number. This information enables us to provide the information or services
   you have requested and to communicate with you regarding your request.
 * When you register an account with us if you want to purchase a Grand & Toy
   product online. When you register, Grand & Toy will ask for your name and
   contact details, as well as a username and password that you will use to log
   in during future visits. You may also want to provide credit card information
   to pay for items you order online in the future. If you opt to do so, your
   payment information will be tokenized and stored securely by our service
   provider.
 * When you purchase a product or service, we collect information necessary to

An example of such sharing is when Grand & Toy transmits credit card clearing
information to a third party service provider for the purposes of charging or
refunding credit cards of Grand & Toy customers. Information transferred during
this business operation is transmitted using a secure link employing industry
standard security protocols. Only the credit card number, such information as is
required to verify the validity of the credit card number, and the transaction
amount is transmitted.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to other organizations
or companies without your explicit consent.

Grand & Toy logs certain technical information from your computer's Web browser
when you visit us on the Internet. This information includes your IP address (a
number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service
Provider), the address of the website you are coming from, the amount of time
you spend visiting our website, when you visit us, the pages visited, the
operating system and Web browser software you use, and, if you link to us
through a search engine, the keywords you used to find our website.

The logs may contain transactional information that can be accessed only by
Grand & Toy and its trusted service providers, and are used solely to track
visits to our site, improve its content and layout, make shopping
recommendations and customize the web experience. Grand & Toy will only attempt
to link the logs to identifiable individuals if that is necessary for
investigating a data security breach, a breach of contract, a violation of Grand
& Toy's policies and procedures, or a contravention of the laws.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is
transferred from a website to the hard drive of your computer. This unique
number identifies your computer to Grand & Toy whenever you visit the Grand &
Toy website. Cookies help facilitate users' ongoing access to and use of a

to anyone. We do not use super cookies or beacons that allow cross website

We will not attempt to link or match this anonymous technical data with

4. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

Grand & Toy may use video surveillance in and around our customer fulfillment
centres, our delivery vehicles and other locations for the safety of our
associates and any visitors to our buildings, and to protect against theft,
vandalism, damage to property and fraud. The recorded images of our customers
are viewed only when required. Any video images recorded are destroyed when they
are no longer required for business or legal purposes. You can contact us or
otherwise communicate your privacy concerns by emailing us at

5. KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SECURE

We will maintain the confidentiality of your information and it will only be
used in accordance with this Policy or applicable laws. Our internal practices
help protect your privacy by limiting employee access to and use of personal
information. 

Grand & Toy strives to provide a secure online environment for the transmission
of personal information such as credit card details, contact information,
usernames, and passwords. For Grand & Toy's account application forms and online
store, security is provided by internationally recognized encryption protocols
(a Secure Socket Layer using 256-bit encryption). When you set up an account or
make a purchase, all of your information is collected within a secure page and
encrypted while being transmitted to Grand & Toy's servers. Once your
information reaches us, we have physical, organizational, and technical controls
in place to keep your information secure. 

We take the protection of personal information very seriously, and are prepared
to take appropriate and timely action in the event of an incident involving your
personal information, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your account username
and password. Grand & Toy is not responsible for any loss that you might suffer
as a result of the use of your password by a third party. If you have reason to
believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you
feel that the security of your account has been compromised), let us know
immediately by emailing us at privacy@grandandtoy.com. We will do everything we
can to assist (for example, cancel your account).


6. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Periodically we may use e-mail as a way to keep in touch with you. However, we
do not send "spam" (unsolicited commercial electronic messages). If you agree to
receive e-mail communications from us, every e-mail message we send to you will
include an e-mail address to which you may respond in order to remove your name
and e-mail address from our list. We will do the same with your mailing address
and telephone number, upon request.
