JOURNEYMAN (JW) JOB CALLS

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**

Effective immediately,

In order to provide a safe environment to our membership and staff, due to
the COVID-19 virus, the Union Hall is requiring EVERYONE to wear a mask before
entering the Hall.  We are currently OPEN for foot traffic and will continue
assisting our membership via phone & email.  Business hours remain the
same (Monday to Friday from 8am to 5 pm).

Please contact our main phone line for assistance at 713-869-8900 and
press *0* to reach an assistant, press *242* for the dues department. 

If you are needing to sign the Out of Work Book, you may do so in person or
please email us a copy of your dues receipt and your termination
slip to resignbook@ibew716.net.  We appreciate your patience, understanding and
cooperation at this time. Stay safe Brothers & Sisters.

**Travelers** If you need to sign the Out-of-Work Book, please bring a Travel
Letter & Dues Receipt when you come into the hall or email your Travel Letter &
Dues Receipt to resignbook@ibew716.net . Please Note: On your Travel Letter,
have the Labor Power Information such as D.O.B., SSN, and Email in order for us
to add you to our system.

 Day & Zimmermann will be hiring Instrument Techs for the NRG facility in the
near future.  Contact the Construction Department for more details. 


OUR WEBSITE IS STILL UNDER MAINTENANCE AND WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

Job calls will be posted by 5pm each day on the website and the job line. 
Applicants can sign the day sheet either in person between 8am and 9am the day
of referral, call in between 8am and 9am the day of referral or email to
daysheet@ibew716.net  between 5 pm the day before referral up to 8am the day of
referral to be placed on the day sheet. When placing your name on the day sheet
include full name, card number and phone number. (If multiple calls are
available please specify the call or calls you are interested in).  All
applicants must meet all requirements for a job referral before roll call
begins.  Calls will be filled in order the applicants are registered on the
book. Starting at 9:30am, the Dispatcher will start calling to fill the job
calls.  All applicants accepting a referral over the phone must pick up referral
and any associated paperwork by 12 noon unless otherwise stated. If applicant
accepts a referral over the phone and comes to the hall to get referral without
the required documents requested for the job call, the applicant will have to
resign the bottom of the book.

FRIDAY – SEPTEMBER 3, 2021

6 – Journeyman Job Calls –

1 – Wayne Electric –

– Freeport Area – Applicant report to shop after roll call, be able to pass
mandatory drug test (hair follicle) and background check,  have valid DL, SS
card, TX JW Electrical License and OSHA 10. (Not a Refusal Call)

*3 –Rosendin Electric –

 Ramsey Solar Farm – Applicant must have proper ID and SS card. This job is
working 6(10)’s. (Not a Refusal Call)

*2 – Day & Zimmermann –STP-Bay City–**THESE CALLS ARE FOR THE 1RE23 FALL
OUTAGE**

*** Outage begins October 8, 2021,  $75.00/ Day per diem begins 9/20/21 until
the completion of the outage, 12 hour shifts during the Outage ***

– Open Calls – Tentative report date **TBD**

Applicants must pass mandatory drug test and extensive background check, be able
to obtain and maintain nuclear access, have the following information for the
PHQ: 7 years of residences, 5 years complete employment and unemployment
history, 3 personal references, cannot be relative or anyone living with you. 
Must have access to a computer to fill out PHQ online, have ID, SS card and
Composite toe boots, (Not a Refusal Call)

Thursday, September 2, 2021, job calls were left over.  No Refusals were given.

THURSDAY – SEPTEMBER 2, 2021
