Lake Tekapo is one of the most unique places on this planet. Not only are we
graced with the most beautiful night skies, we have the ability to give special
people like you the opportunity to stay and enjoy what we have to offer in this
ever growing town.

Mt John Observatory is only a 15 minute drive to the top and has the most
beautiful views of the Mackenzie Basin and Southern Alps. There is also the
Astro Cafe which is open during the day. At night, Earth & Sky also offer their
very sought after Night Tours.

Tekapo Springs offers a Sauna & Spa and also a fantastic venue for ice skating,
hot pools and summer & winter tubing. A must for any family. Our local ski
field, Round Hill is renowned as one of the best ski-fields for seasoned skiers
and boarders, and especially for families. Air Safaris & Tekapo Helicopters
offer breath-taking flights over Mt Cook and surrounding areas. We are blessed
with many fantastic restaurants and eateries. Lake Tekapo is also becoming very
popular for its lovely bike tracks and walk ways. Watch this space for more
