A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Last night, over 400 attendees from across the AEC industry gathered to
celebrate the accomplishments of 54 members and firms who were recognized for
outstanding contributions to the profession. Check out all the winners and

Many thanks to our hosts for the evening, BSA/AIA President Sam Batchelor FAIA
and BSA Foundation Chair Rebecca Berry AIA, along with our fabulous emcees,
Yanel de Angel FAIA and Kelly Ard AIA. A special thank you also goes out to our
sponsors and attendees. Proceeds from last night benefit the BSA Foundation,
which connects the profession to the community through innovative programming
with a focus on equity and sustainability.

WILLIAM RAWN WINS HARLESTON PARKER MEDAL

Established in 1921 in memory of Boston architect J. Harleston Parker, with the
first medal given in 1923, this highest honor awarded by the BSA recognizes “the
most beautiful piece of architecture, building, monument or structure within the
City or Metropolitan Parks District limits.” This year's Harleston Parker Medal
was awarded to William Rawn Associates, Architects, Inc. for Berklee Tower,
Berklee College of Music, and the Harleston Parker People's Choice Award was
bestowed on KPMB Architects for the Center for Computing & Data Sciences at

AIA ELEVATES 3 BSA MEMBERS TO THE COLLEGE OF FELLOWS

The 2024 Jury of Fellows from the American Institute of Architects (AIA)
elevated 96 member-architects — including 3 BSA members — to its prestigious
College of Fellows.

WORKSHOP RECAP: ARCHITECTURE/DESIGN THINKING WEEK 2024

The BSA recently hosted Architecture/Design Thinking Week, a collaboration with
the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC) that offers interested Boston Public
School (BPS) students paid career exploration during February school vacation
week. Each day of this four-day workshop, firms take turns facilitating
activities and providing hands-on support as students work through a multi-stage
design prompt.
