Leading Intel's NextG network technology and standards development, he focuses on Silicon enhancements for RAN & Core, currently spearheading the development of a comprehensive edge architecture for distributed and connected compute. Udayan is instrumental in establishing new growth areas for Intel in the intelligent edge, contributing to software-based networking, distributed AI/ML models, and edge-specific intellectual property. His research interests encompass next-gen wireless, SoC design for the edge, and QoS/Time Sensitive Networking for industrial applications.
