We’ve worked together on so many projects, and there is this beautiful sense of
camaraderie between us. It might be corny, but it’s true, and now we are happily
working on this show together. I wanted to come up with a show that we could all
work on together. “In a way, that was one of the inspirations for us. “There are
so many great storytellers at the studio and so much raw and untapped creativity
on display during the screening of the projects,” recalls Simmons. Simmons is
very grateful to Titmouse founders Chris and Shannon Prynoski, who encourage a
creative environment and want everyone at the studio to be involved in the
artistic process, a spirit which is reflected in the Five Second Day enterprise.
“We looked at Mao Mao as a bit of an experiment from the very start, we wanted
to make the kind of cartoon we’d all like to work on as animators.” “I know five
years may seem like a long time to some people, but for animation that’s pretty
fast, and in this time, there was never a moment when I wasn’t thinking about it
or working on it or talking to other people about the show,” says the
32-year-old artist. Basically, the idea was to get the ideas up on the screen to
see if they are funny, to see if the characters are interesting and does the
story work.”Īfter pitching the project to Cartoon Network CCO Rob Sorcher in
June of 2017, Simmons got the official greenlight, and now, TV audiences can
finally enjoy his colorful and off-the-wall creation this summer. “My friends
and I were all in a place where we wanted more individual work, so when the
opportunity came up, I started drawing stuff that I liked. “Back then, I was
directing animation for Netflix’s Turbo series,” Simmons recalls. Simmons’
original short sparked a lot of interest, so he and his friends began working on
a seven-minute version of the short, which was later used as a pitch to Cartoon
Network. The origins of Mao Mao go back to 2014, when Simmons entered Titmouse
animation studio’s famous Five Second Day event, where employees are encouraged
to create their own project. The high-energy new toon, which is the brainchild
of Parker Simmons, follows the madcap adventures of a samurai cat/sheriff named
Mao Mao and his sidekicks Badgerclops and Adorabat as they try to protect the
super-cute residents of Pure Heart Valley from the evil Orangusnake and his
pirate clan. If you like Akira Toriyama’s colorful Dragon Ball creatures and are

I can sample a few times and then sudden death.Ĭould you run through this once
more, your steps, and when it hangs, check not only PS in the Activity Monitor
for Not Responding, but also "dimexe" Not Responding? I don't know what dimexe
is, but it's been not responding when PS isn't responding. I haven't been able
to pin exactly what prompts the hang, other than using the eyedropper to sample
from one of the two documents. It's not happened every time I use the eyedropper
to select a color, but very, very frequently. So slightly different
circumstances, but too close to think they're not connected. I was using one as
a source for the other, and the source was a JPEG, the other a PSD. The other
times, I have had the eyedropper selected, and two documents open, only one with
multiple layers, both tabbed to the App frame, but arranged vertically. So I
selected color with the eyedropper from one-it worked, then the other-it failed
and hung PS. I can't replicate the problem with your steps-tried twice, but then
I went the step further to see what would happen if I used the eyedropper
tool-would that cause the PS hang I've experienced - twice earlier today, and a
couple of times the day before. And mine is the eyedropper, not the Color Picker
itself. It's not exactly the same-that is, with identical steps. Okay, this
seems directly related to a bug I just found recently. Since File A and File B
can be any two files I didn't think you'd need screenshots of that, but let me
know if you do and I can screenshot play by play. I've attached a screenshot of
the activity monitor, if this helps, to show what happens with the CPU when this
happens. Regardless, if I follow these steps it puts Photoshop in an
unresponsive state. I'm not sure if the fact of having zoomed in a couple of
times on both files contributes to this or the fact that file #1 is in an
unsaved state at the time, or maybe a combination of both? you see the little

skills and Pneumatic Burst, which increases your speed and offers some extra
healing. When you finally get high enough level, next focus the Shaman side
entirely on the Wendigo Totem, which drains life from enemies and heals you and
allies.

Savageryis an absolute must, however, since it lets you build up bleed and
lightning damage with every basic melee attack – and you get a lot of them as a
Nightblade. Trickster (Shaman + Nightblade)Īt first glance these classes are a
bit at odds, since the Nightblade is all about dual-wielding, while the Shaman
is more about two-handed weapons, but there are some synergies to be found here
if you look hard enough.You'll obviously want to avoid the Brute Force and
Primal Strike skill trees on the Shaman side altogether if you are going for a
dual-wielder. Taking Phantasmal Bladesand Anatomy Of Murderon the Nightblade
side will see you doing impressive bleed damage to enemies, while the
Occultist's Vulnerabilityskill reduces bleed resistance and slows enemies down.
There are several distinctly different directions to take this combo class, but
one that offers some interesting opportunities earlier on is to focus on
bleeding damage. Nightblade Class Witchhunter (Nightblade + Occultist) He can
become an absolute blur of motion across the screen, and adding a second class
means you'll be augmenting your double melee strikes with additional status
effects or elemental damage. The Occultist's Frailtyskill works very well in
tandem with the Demoltionist's fire-based attacks as well, since Frailty reduces
an enemy's elemental resistances.įor dual-wielding enthusiasts, this is the
class you want to pick first. While the Occultist has great debuffs – and you
should pick up some of those – the real draw here is combining the Solael's
Witchfireskill (which deals bonus chaos damage and increases your attack speed)
with the Demolitonist's Fire Strikeattack. You will be an absolute whirlwind of
flaming blades, scything through hordes of enemies. This not only increases your
already impressive speed, but also heals you while you deal extra fire damage.
Here's where the Demolitonist flavor comes in: pump a full 12 skill points into
Vindictive Flame, and toggle it on whenever possible. If you want to keep the
flavor of the Nightblade, of course focus on the Dual Blades, Belgothian's
Shears,and Amarasta's Quick Cutskills, as those let you deal loads of damage
with two weapons. This is a fun class for combining the fiery mayhem of the
Demolitionist with the fast paced, two-weapon style of the Nightblade. See Also

While the front-line fighters tend to do very well in ARPGs, my first class of
choice is always the dedicated spellcaster. Of all the classes, Arcanist is
