As a licensed massage therapist and certified lymphatic decongestive therapist
with 16 years of expertise, my focus lies in addressing chronic pain utilizing
laser therapy techniques. Introduced to low-level laser therapy 7 years ago, I
have witnessed its profound impact on my clients' well-being on a daily basis.
My dedication has always been rooted in understanding the underlying causes of
pain and offering effective relief.

At enLIGHTen, I specialize in medical massage and low-level laser therapy to
alleviate pain. Combining massage with laser therapy amplifies the healing
process by providing the necessary energy for damaged cells to regenerate and
facilitating improved cellular communication. This enhanced energy and
communication result in expedited healing times for individuals. Moreover, this
approach is completely safe, non-invasive, and pain-free, offering a holistic
solution for chronic pain management.

LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY

 Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive technology that harnesses
specific wavelengths of light to trigger cellular activity. It operates through
photochemical reactions akin to photosynthesis in plants, where light absorption
induces a chemical change, rapidly boosting the production of ATP—the energy
currency of our bodies. By increasing ATP production, LLLT enhances the energy
required for injured cells to heal and regenerate while improving their
communication efficiency. 




Some biological effects seen include:




-Anti-inflammatory: It reduces swelling caused by trauma or inflammation by
dilating blood vessels and activating the lymphatic system which drains swollen
areas.




-Analgesic (pain reliever): LLLT exerts a very beneficial effect on pain in
multiple way. It partially blocks neural transmission of pain signals to the
brain and decreases nerve sensitivity. LLLT also lessens pain by reducing edema
and producing high levels of painkilling chemicals such as endorphins,
enkephalins, and opioids from the brain and adrenal glands.

A variety of exercises, movements, and localized massage is used in laser
therapy. Please wear loose fitting clothing for treatments.

This is about an hour and a half appointment covering client history, treatment
plan, and your first initial treatment.

LOCALIZED LASER TREATMENT

This is a 30 min laser treatment for specific areas of the body. This is ideal
for pre or post op clients, localized injuries or sessions for pre-existing
clients. 

MULTI-REGIONAL LASER TREATMENT

This is a 60 min laser treatment to work on multiple areas or systems of the
body. Ideal for post car accident clients or multiple injuries to address.

60 MIN MASSAGE

While the benefits of massage are widely known the addition of laser allows for
longer lasting relief.

Laser therapy is a compounding technology. Each treatment builds on the prior
treatment. In general, 4 sessions are necessary to really begin the healing
process and around 10+ to treat chronic issues; although, relief can be felt
