MICROSCOPY RESEARCH

Advancing empirical & scientific understanding of human blood

MISSION & PURPOSE

The work presented by Microscopy Research is designed to "shine a light" upon
the application of optical light microscopes for evaluating the microenvironment
and coagulation morphology of human blood, and "illuminate" any correlations
that may exist between observational datasets to various biochemical and
physiological distress states.

PHASE CONTRAST
LIVE CELL MICROENVIRONMENT EVALUATION

Evaluating the microenvironment of a drop blood via phase contrast microscopy.

DARK-FIELD
LIVE CELL MICROENVIRONMENT EVALUATION

Evaluating the microenvironment of a drop blood via dark-field microscopy.

DRIED BLOOD COAGULATION MORPHOLOGY EVALUATION

Evaluating the effects of reactive oxygen toxic species (ROTS) on the
coagulation morphology of dried blood clots.

OUR GOAL

Educating people about the microenvironment or ecological terrain of human blood
and it's relation to factors concerning human health.

FIRST WE

OBSERVE

Observation is the first step in the scientific method of any inquiry or study.
Here we consider current empirical and scientific understandings of the object
of study and begin to formulate a hypothesis.

THEN WE

EVALUATE

Evaluation is the next step whereby we test via experimentation to generate data
outputs that we rigorously and repeatably evaluate.

FINALLY WE

INFORM

We then make conclusions regarding reliable, repeatable, and robust datasets to
inform us of the significant factors that impact our object or topic of study.
