From Cool Web Junk TA-DA LISTS - THE BEST WEB BASED TODO LIST ORGANIZER Posted in: Web Based Tools By Mark Apr 24, 2008 - 4:19:28 PM I've always been a fan of Post-it® Notes, those little yellow colored sticky notes. Anyone that has seen my desk, knows how much I use them. Most of the time, I use them for To-do lists. Its how I stay organized. However, I found something better - Ta-da Lists – a web-based To-Do List organizational tool that I love. Myy criteria when considering a web based application are it must be simple to learn and easy to use. Otherwise, I either won't have the time to learn how to use it, or its too much of a hassle to use. I can honestly say that Ta-Da Lists is the easiest To-Do list organizer I have seen. You create a free account on the site and login. Then you create a topic for your To-do list. I name topics based on different websites I'm working on or different clients I'm helping. Once the topic is set, you simply add an item to the list. When you are finished completing an item, just check it off the list and it will drop to the bottom of the list and become greyed out. Easy to see what you still have to do and what you have already accomplished on your list. The main screen for Ta-da list shows you the different topics and how many items are on each list. A simple click brings up the list to view and manipulate. One of the best features of Ta-Da Lists is the fact that each user is given a subdomain of their own. So if your username is john, the URL to your list would be http://john.tadalist.com. Easy to remember! There is also an option to keep the user signed in, so whenever I click on the URL, my lists appear quickly and automatically. Other features include the ability to email yourself a list or be notified of changes to the list via an RSS feed. You can even share the list with others (via email) or post the list publicly on Ta-da Lists so anyone can view, but not edit, your To-Dos. I'm thoroughly pleased with my electronic version of my ToDo List, and I can once again see my desk without having to move a bunch of sticky notes.
