Before Jay-Z fashioned himself into hip-hop's most notorious capitalist, he was
a street hustler from the projects who rapped about what he knew -- and was
very, very good at it. Skeptics who've never cared for Jigga's crossover efforts
should turn to his debut, Reasonable Doubt, as the deserving source of his
legend. Reasonable Doubt is often compared to another New York landmark, Nas'
Illmatic: A hungry young MC with a substantial underground buzz drops an instant
classic of a debut, detailing his experiences on the streets with disarming
honesty, and writing some of the most acrobatic rhymes heard in quite some time.
(Plus, neither artist has since approached the street cred of his debut, The
Blueprint notwithstanding.) Parts of the persona that Jay-Z would ride to
superstardom are already in place: He's cocky bordering on arrogant, but playful
and witty, and exudes an effortless, unaffected cool throughout. And even if
he's rapping about rising to the top instead of being there, his material
obsessions are already apparent. Jay-Z the hustler isn't too different from
Jay-Z the rapper: Hustling is about living the high life and getting everything
you can, not violence or tortured glamour or cheap thrills. In that sense, the
album's defining cut might not be one of the better-known singles -- 'Can't
Knock the Hustle,' 'Dead Presidents II,' 'Feelin' It,' or the Foxy Brown duet,
'Ain't No Nigga.'

It just might be the brief '22 Two's,' which not only demonstrates Jay-Z's
extraordinary talent as a pure freestyle rapper, but also preaches a subtle
message through its club hostess: Bad behavior gets in the way of making money.
Perhaps that's why Jay-Z waxes reflective, not enthusiastic, about the darker
side of the streets; songs like 'D'Evils' and 'Regrets' are some of the most
personal and philosophical he's ever recorded. It's that depth that helps
Reasonable Doubt rank as one of the finest albums of New York's hip-hop

romantic Roman comedy based on a lost New Comedy written by the Greek playwright

The Pot of Gold Introductory Note The Aulularia is one of Plautus’ best-known
plays. Its main character is Euclio, a man who has been plunged into a personal
crisis by finding a pot of gold. Euclio is not a bad person, but he cannot cope
with his fortune. Instead of putting the money to good use, he is so afraid of
losing it that he spends all his time concealing his find, even from his
daughter Phaedrium. He becomes paranoid and begins to look at his neighbors as
potential thieves. Being so preoccupied with his gold, he fails to realize that
Phaedrium is also going through a personal crisis.

A young man, Lyconides, raped her when he was drunk. She did not recognize her
assailant, but he knew who she was. Phaedrium kept her pregnancy secret from
everyone except for her old nurse.

She is close to giving birth when Lyconides’ mother, Eunomia, manages to
persuade her brother Megadorus, a confirmed bachelor, to marry. The wealthy
Megadorus does not want the equally wealthy and elderly woman whom his sister
has in mind, but prefers the young and poor Phaedrium. Euclio is still unaware
of his daughter’s situation when Megadorus proposes his match. Manam kothi

give his daughter in marriage on condition that no dowry be given to Megadorus.

The Pot of Gold Megadorus sends cooks to Euclio’s house to prepare the wedding

marriage, but asks Lyconides to help him to find the gold again. Lyconides’
slave meets his master, tells him that he stole Euclio’s gold, and demands his

The ending of the play is lost. However, the ancient plot summaries and the
fragments allow us to understand how the comedy ended. Lyconides returns the
gold to Euclio and frees his slave. The marriage takes place, and Euclio, who
has realized that the gold cannot make him happy, gives it to the young couple.
Even though this is one of Plautus’ most famous comedies, we do not know for
certain who wrote the original and when the Latin work was performed first. It
is generally assumed that the Aulularia is based on a play by Menander, but of
course there are other possibilities as well.

In the Latin play there are several references to the luxurious lifestyle of
women (ll. It may well be the case that the Aulularia was written after the Lex
Oppia was repealed in 195, a law that severely restricted 251.

May 31, 2015 - Within a period of half a century, I have observed the Ismaili
Du'a. Pronounced by the Farmans (Holy Commands) of the late Aga Khan in. The
Holy Du'as that are recited in the 'Ismaili Jamatkhanas owned by the Aga Khan'
are Supererogatory Supplications, Commanded by the Aga Khan. The synonyms to be
found in a dictionary for the legal/technical term 'supererogatory' are;
'superfluous, nonessential, uncalled-for'.


ISMAILI HOLY DUA PART 1

(Three years later) I found an excellent resource which explains many of the
historical and theological questions I asked. Some excerpts are below, which
answer my questions. Highlighting is my own. Over the period of nearly 1400
years, the Islamic Salaah and the Shahadah have not been revised. Within a
period of half a century, I have observed the Ismaili Du'a and the Ismaili
Shahadah, each being revised three times. The present Du'a in Arabic, replacing
the old Du'a in Gujrati, was formulated and officially pronounced by the Farmans
(Holy Commands) of the late Aga Khan in 1956. Since he was suffering from
lumbago, sciatica and the cancer, he sent his grandson - the present Aga Khan,
to introduce the 'New Du'a' in the Eastern Africa.

The 'New Du'a' introduced officially in Africa had an ending: 'al-Imamul haziril
maujood li zikrihis sujood.' Meaning: 'the present Imam, to whose name
prostration is due.'

When the same 'New Du'a' was introduced in the Islamic State of Pakistan,the
above mentioned phrase was changed to read: 'Allahumma laka sujoodi wa ta'ati.'
Meaning: 'O Allah, to Thee is my prostration.' Again, the same old apprehension
of being labeled 'apostate' by those Pakistani Muslims, who the lack knowledge
and true understanding of the inner Ismaili gnostic, which is not so easy to
comprehend. Another interesting post notes several things; I have abbreviated it
to relevant portions: This prayer clearly says the Aga Khan is the incarnation
of Allah [.] This is part of the reason why many older Nizari Ismailis believe
that Aga Khan is Allah (they were taught this) [.] Many younger Nizari Ismailis
struggle to believe that Aga Khan could possibly be Allah, though. **The [.] Dua
was replaced in I think 1956, with the current Dua [.] The current Dua doesn't
say that Aga Khan is Allah, although it does have some elements of clear shirk.
Some people say that the Aga Khan changed the beliefs around 1950 from the Aga
Khan being Allah to the Aga Khan having the Noor of Allah inside of him [.] So,
now Nizari Ismailis say that Aga Khan holds the Noor of Allah inside of him,
whereas before they used to say he is the same as Allah.

But, many Nizari Ismailis still believe the Aga Khan is Allah even though he
only says now that he has the Noor of Allah and is not the same as Allah. Pretty
much anything you find on Nizari Ismailis between about 1800 and 1950 says that
their Imam is the same to them as Allah. They even used to worship his picture
back in those days (1800 to 1950), according to a conversation I had with an
older Nizari Ismaili who confirmed that they were worshipping Aga Khan's picture
back in East Africa in the jamatkhana she was at. The practice eventually
stopped around 1950. It was around 1950, which was around the time Pakistan was
formed and where many Nizari Ismailis were living, that the beliefs started to
change [.] Around 1956 the old Dua changed into the new one (current one). This
answers both my questions of: • Where did this book origin?

It appears to be compiled by the Aga Khan in 1950-1956. • Does this book change?
It has gone through multiple revisions -- at least one around 1950, in response
to theological changes.

There are at least two different versions mentioned -- the original, and the one
in Pakistan. And Allah knows best.

I'm trying to help my dad play Simcity, however every time we go into the game
an error comes up saying that no product code has been entered (btw with no
error code). I think the problem comes from us having to change our Origin
password, forcing us to also uninstall and re-install the game. Now we have the
