The staff were all lovely, the room immaculate and the breakfast just what we needed.Compared to other hotels in the area, its a bargain, but you don't lose in comfort, cleanliness or safety. I loved that it was about a 10-min walk to some of Dublin’s more popular areas so that you’re close to the action without a lot of outside noise. The rooms were clean and the staff was attentive. The only thing I’d note is that there are at least one flight of stairs, no matter which floor you stay on (and no elevator). Dragging my suitcase up two flights of stairs wasn’t fun. Vicinanza a mezzi di trasporto urbani ed alla navetta per l'aeroporto. Stanze con arredamento d'epoca e moquette all'interno di stabile tipico irlandese. E' importante sapere che non c'è l'ascensore; ma non è un problema se si è abili. Colazione varia e abbondante, piuttosto salata che dolce. Per noi italiani ci sono croissant e crepes da riempire con marmellate o nutella, macedonia e yogurt fresco, altre briosches calde. Manca il caffe espresso, ma per fare un buon caffellatte si può ovviare con una bustina di nescafé da sciogliere nel latte. Tv con una decina di canali solo irlandesi. Riscaldamento con termosifoni regolato a livello centralizzato. Stanze ampie e bagni moderni. Presenza in stanza di bollitore con bustine di the e caffé. Nelle stanze è presente phon con wattaggio alto, asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno. Attenzione perché le prese sono quelle anglosassoni, quindi serve un adattatore. We would recommend visiting this beautiful park. You can pick up Hop on Hop off Buses about 10 minute walk away in front of St Stephens Park main entrance. Hotel was about a 12 minute easy flat walk to restaurants etc The staff were very friendly on arrival and we had requested a room on the first floor as I was travelling with my 84 year old dad and suitcases for a 4 week trip. They accommodated us and we were very grateful. Rooms were good and twin beds very comfortable. Not sure what some people expect for a breakfast but we were very satisfied and looked after - everything you could want for a large continental breakfast with fresh local bread and cheeses and cereals, fruits etc. Lots to choose from. The hotel is so local to Start Stephen's square and many shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel was extremely comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good and staff were very friendly. I would suggest you not stay in room 101 as it is directly to the front of the hotel and can hear the trams early in the morning as well as guests walking past your room constantly. The room was beautiful with high ceilings and historic paintings which were tasteful. It was quite chilly when I visited but the heating worked well and wasn't overpowering. Good selection at breakfast of different types of breads, cereals and fruits. With so many good places around the breakfast is good to start the day. Great location for city centre and close to great bars and restaurants. We had a room over looking the main street where crowds were leaving coppers night club at 3am. We had been out ourselves so didn't mind this too much in this instance but could see how it could be a problem if you needed a solid sleep.The staff we met were pleasant. The room was modern and clean. Bed very comfy. No lift as is an old building.My main critique would be the breakfast. We paid for B&B option (one overnight with breakfast was not cheap) but there was just a continental breakfast on offer and the croissants were not freshly baked, as if from a multi pack. Having a hot breakfast choice especially after paying what we did would have been better. If I'd know I would have booked room only and gone to one of the many brunch places in dublin instead.Apart from the price and breakfast I'd prob stay here again for location to Dublin City centre. We had a group of 12 people and they went above and beyond for us in every detail! The hotel was clean, updated, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! The staff was always accommodating us with water and helping us with taxis and directions . They also guided us with our covid test to return to the US! Thanks to them we had the best experience with no line! The kitchen ladies were also wonderful. We had a tour scheduled super early in the morning and they made sure we had coffee before we left! Owen was absolutely helpful in booking our big group with different itineraries. I can go on and on about each and every employee that we dealt with! My advice, book with them directly and not with Expedia. They deserve full compensation for their wonderful accommodations and kindness! Thank you for a lovely experience.
