Laser is heat energy that irritates the targeted hair follicle roots; resulting
in micro-injury. Nd: Yag laser, works differently than diode and alexandrite
lasers when it comes to hair removal. Nd: Yag laser simply has a higher
absorption to the blood color than the pigment color, which makes Nd: Yag a
safer option for tanned skin.

Fotona is a winning award as an aesthetic medical device. The device provides an
exceptional and highly satisfactory treatment experience. During the treatment
the laser handpiece will not be in direct contact with the skin, the experience
will be similar to mild elastic snaps and mild heat sensation. the great
advantage of Foton's handpiece is how precise the laser beam can be to line
eyebrows or beard. The handpiece is attached to a cold air device, that pushes
air to soothe the skin constantly during the treatment.

MOST EFFECTIVE

Nd: Yag laser has the deepest wavelength of 1064 nm compared to diode or
alexandrite laser. ND: Yag laser can reach deep into the roots of the hair, and
deeply heat the small capillaries that are responsible for suppling the hair
with blood. As a result of irritating those tiny blood vessels from the laser
heat, the hair won't be getting enough blood supply and will eventually stop
growing. Tanned skin tones are usually featured with thick skin, and by using
the proper laser that reaches deep enough will increase the effectiveness of the
treatment, and permanently prevent hair from regrowth.
