✨ RAIDSTORM OWASP SECURITY TEST¶


📋 DESCRIPTION¶

In this project we have 7 components, 5 of which are microservices, a database
and a security scanning service proxy.:

 * docs - Provides this documentation
 * apibff - RESTful entry point
 * activescan - Microservice that communicates with zaproxy to perform Active
   URL scanning
 * pasivevescan - Microservice that communicates with zaproxy to do passive URL
   scanning
 * securityalerts - Microservice that receives data from scanners, saves it in
   the postgresql database and also delivers data to the main API with scanner
   results
 * postgresql - Application database
 * rabbit - AMQP service used to transmit information from micro-services

👔 CONCEPTS¶

 * The active scanner is a module that sends HTTP or HTTPS requests to a target
   to check its security. Active scanners can be used to identify known
   vulnerabilities, such as authentication flaws, code injection and Cross-Site
   Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities.

 * A passive scanner is a module that analyzes a target's HTTP or HTTPS traffic
   to verify its security. Passive scanners can be used to identify unknown
   vulnerabilities, such as implementation vulnerabilities or vulnerabilities
   that depend on specific conditions.


🔧 COMMANDS¶

 * docker compose build - Download and build the images needed for the project
 * docker compose up -d - Initializes the images, in order, for the project to
   work
