MATIK TEMPLATE REVISION + ADDITION REQUEST PROCESS If you would like changes to any of the templates in Matik or would like to request the addition of a brand new template, please follow the process below. 1. Please bring the change, revision, or addition request to the Matik Template Focus Group (see below for names) to ensure that there is a team-wide consensus and business need. 2. If your team agrees that the change needs to be made and the change will result in greater efficiency, consistency, and/or quality of the deck, please leverage the following options: please run the change by your manager and get your manager's approval. 1. Generic templates - Propose the change to the focus group for vetting and presentation at weekly team meetings to confirm no blockers across the org, and the IM or CSM group lead can provide management approval for the request. 2. Team-specific templates - Propose the change to your team's focus group representative for vetting and presentation at your specific team's weekly meeting to confirm no blockers, and your team's manager can also give approval at this time. 3. Note: For v1, the goal of the focus group will be reviewing the current decks and agreeing to updates so that we have consistency on overarching material. For v2, the ask will be to understand what actual differences in content are needed for the different verticals and if separate templates are warranted. 3. Only once the first two steps of the process have been completed, please ask a committee member to submit a ROSE case. 1. Case type = enablement content/comms and subtype = new or edit matik templates 2. Within the case, please list any and all updates requested in the description box. 3. If applicable, make sure that the existing deck link is included in the case (if requesting edits to an existing deck). 4. If requesting a completely new deck, please utilize a copy of this Google slides template to populate the content you would like created into a deck. Link the deck in the ROSE case. 1. If there is Salesforce content, please identify the field names and where the field lives (i.e. account object, etc) 5. Ensure you have checked "yes" in the "leadership approval box" – or else we will have to confirm with your manager and team and the process will be slowed down. 6. Please tag your manager who has signed off on the changes in a comment on the case once you have submitted the request. 7. The Enablement team will then work to format the deck and the systems team will proceed with updating the tags within the deck and uploading to Matik. Each quarter, the Matik Template focus group from each team (IM + CSM) is expected to meet to review the templates and assess whether there needs to be any updates based on the state of the business. The goal is for the templates to iterate over time as the business needs it and preventing them from becoming stale. If you aren't part of the focus group, please make sure that you bring up any revision requests and/or new template addition requests with the focus group so they can vet the business case for the new template.
