The Super Down ULTRA Pants weigh a mere 8 oz. They're built for the hunter
looking for unbelievable warmth-to-weight ratio. They're perfect as an
insulating layer - or as standalone pants. They're insulated with 1.7 oz of
850+FP TORAY Quixdown (50% less down than Super Down PRO), making them KUIU's
lightest down pants.

The outer ultralight 12D nylon Stunner Stretch fabric is wind-proof and
comfortable. It's heat-treated to keep the down from migrating through the
fabric, eliminating the need for noisy down-proof coatings. The fabric is also
treated with TORAY K-DWR to repel light rain and snow.

Super Down ULTRA pants compress and self-stow inside their internal pouch.
They're so lightweight, you won't regret having them in your pack.

Lightweight and warm. Great as a mid-layer insulator or an easy to pack extra
layer for a stand or blind sit when the temps start to fall. A go-to item when
chilly weather comes. Easy on/off adds to the versatility.

INSULATED PANTS

Good fit. Love the full length side zippers so you don’t have to take off boots.
I wear merino wool base, puffy pants with Guide Pant out wear. It’s awesome
combination for bow hunting. Don’t want to sweat walking in to stand and
climbing tree but easy to be put on once your in stand for the long cold sit
during a Wisconsin late season bow hunt in the north woods.

QUIXDOWN BY TORAY

Traditional down is not a viable option for mountain hunting since it loses all
insulating properties when exposed to moisture. Not anymore. We treat our down
products with DWR, so its impervious to moisture. Starting with the best
European goose down—it's cleaned, refined, and processed by Kawada Feather in
Meiwa, Japan. Their proprietary techniques perfect the down to 850+ fill power
and 95:5 down to feather ratio. Next, we treat the down with TORAY's DWR, so
each individual down cluster keeps its insulating loft and heat retention even
when wet.
