Our students recently participated in the World Scholar’s Cup Skittles round.
The weekend event was a challenging contest against other schools in the region
and was a mixture of debating, essay writing and multiple-choice questions. Our
school had an enjoyable day and were extremely successful, culminating in 44
medals awarded across the various areas as well as a trophy for 1st place in the
collaborative writing event. We are extremely proud of all the children that
took part and look forward to the next round for those who have qualified which
is the Global Round later in the academic year. Our students in Y6-Y9
participated in a variety of activities such as debating, essay writing and a
multiple choice quiz. It was a hugely successful and enjoyable weekend for all
of the students highlighted by their outstanding achievements. In total, our
nine students earned over 25 medals which is fantastic and a reflection of their
hard work. We are extremely proud of our students and we cannot wait for the
