JENNIFER CATHER, MD


- BOARD-CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST AND MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Jennifer Cather leads Mindful Dermatology. She is a board-certified
dermatologist, an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is
an internationally recognized authority in complex medical dermatology,
aesthetics, and skin cancer. Dr. Cather is passionate about diagnosing and
managing patient conditions, from the most severe diseases, such as psoriasis or
atopic dermatitis, to common skin conditions. Whether seeking the latest medical
or rejuvenation advancements in dermatological care, Dr. Cather and her team at
Mindful Dermatology are fully invested in our patients. They are constantly
raising the standard for dermatology care by providing innovative,
research-based therapies and actively seeking new treatments through clinical
research.




Dr. Cather, a Southern California native, and her husband, Chris, have two
daughters, Wonder and Magic. Outside of work, Dr. Cather enjoys staying active
and living a healthy lifestyle, whether it's snow skiing, snorkeling, hiking, or
stargazing with her husband.










































MELODIE YOUNG, MSN, A/GNP-C


- BOARD-CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Melodie Young is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing in
Dallas since 1987 and is the former director of the Psoriasis Center at Baylor
University Medical Center. She has served on psoriasis and phototherapy-related
committees for the American Academy of Dermatology. Additionally, Melodie has 30
years of experience in clinical trials (therapies and medications) in atopic
dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, hair loss disorders, and skin infections
as well as aesthetic products. She has been published in nursing and medical
journals, and lucky for us she carries that knowledge and passion through
everything she does here at Mindful Dermatology.




Melodie chose to work in dermatology because she loves making a difference in
her patients' lives. Melodie and her husband Gary have four almost grown
children and have lived in East Dallas since the early 90s. She grew up
road-tripping and has been to 49 states and dozens of countries with more on her
bucket list.


































ALYSSA SPIEGEL, MPAS, PA-C


- CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGY PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Alyssa Spiegel is a certified Physician Assistant who holds a Bachelor of
Science in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's in
Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas in Fort Worth.
Alyssa has been practicing in the field of dermatology since 2010, with a
personal and compassionate approach to patient care. With experience in the
field of dermatologic surgery and Mohs surgery, Alyssa's passions include acne,
skin cancer screening exams, and rashes. She also manages the aesthetics center
of Mindful Dermatology alongside our cosmetic nurse injector and aesthetician.
She has helped to develop and expand Mindful Dermatology's aesthetic department
bringing in award-winning skincare products and developing regimens for all
different skin types and conditions.




Alyssa chose to work in dermatology because she is a visual person with a
passion for all facets of medical dermatology and treating kids and adults
alike. She also enjoys being a PA because she loves taking care of everyone from
very young to old, addressing their concerns and educating them about how to
care for every aspect of their skin. She is married to her husband Brian and
loves being a mom to her 3 boys.






































KAYLIE BRUMLEY


- LICENSED AESTHETICIAN

Kaylie attended I.T.S. Academy of Beauty in Plano and has received advanced
training and certifications for EmSculpt, lasers, medical-grade peels,
microblading, and microneedling. Following her passion and true calling as a
medical aesthetician, she joined the Mindful Dermatology team in 2008. She has
worked extensively in the medical field for her entire career and particularly
enjoys witnessing her patients' transformations. Kaylie's expertise includes a
wide range of cosmetic laser and rejuvenation therapies, but her favorite
treatment for patients is Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).




Kaylie is as passionate about skincare therapies in the office as she is about
your at-home regimen. She has three beautiful children with her husband Jared,
who shares her passions for working out, going to the movies, and trying new
restaurants and activities with their extended families.








































CAROL GHATREHEE, RN


- REGISTERED NURSE INJECTOR

Carol is a Cosmetic RN at Mindful Dermatology. With over 25 years of experience
in the dermatology field, Carol is an expert in injectables, fillers, chemical
peels, injections for hair loss, and more. Carol chose to work in dermatology
because a person's aesthetic needs are constantly changing throughout their
lifetime and she wants to be their partner in anti-aging.
