CORRUPTION PLAGUES LAKSHADWEEP ADMINISTRATION. ENFORCE EFFECTIVE RULES AND
PRACTICES THAT ALLOW FOR CHANGE!
LET'S SHARE AND SPREAD AWARENESS!

The Lakshadweep Islands ('Laccadive' as they were formerly known) are one of the
few remaining virgin islands in the world and the only coral reef islands in the
Indian waters. The soft silvery beaches, the coral atolls built on ancient
volcanic formations, living corals, vast beautiful lagoons, the matchless marine
environment, and multi-coloured coral fishes make Lakshadweep a real paradise in
the Arabian sea.

The lagoon runs through the entire length of the island and differs in width and
depth. Most of the islands have on their western side a lagoon enclosed by a
coral reef. The coral reef, like a boundary wall, protects the lagoon from the
rough sea. As a result, the water of the lagoon is calm and serene within the
periphery beyond which the pale blue turns into deep blue due to the depth.

The islands are irregularly scattered in the Arabian Sea about 185 miles (300
km) off the Kerala coast, between 8" and 12"-30' north latitude and between 71"
and 74" east longitude. Because of their oceanic location and the difficulties
of access, most of the reefs remain pristine with little human impact. The
islands are the geographical extension of the Maldives island chain. There are
in all 36 coral islands and several sunken banks, open reefs, and sandbanks.

Thanks to the vast lagoon and coralline banks, the actual lagoonal area of about
4,200 sq. Kms, compared to a coastal line of about 132 Kms. The spread of the
islands is such that the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of India is extended by
another 4,00,000 Sq. Km. In this respect, Lakshadweep is one of the largest
territories of our nation

This charming isolated destination has only 10 of its islands inhabited. They
are Agatti, Kavaratti, Kadmat, Minicoy, Andrott, Amini, Kalpeni, Kiltan,
Chetlat, and Bitra studded in the blue water of the Arabian sea unfolds another
world in itself. The uninhabited islands consist of Bangaram, Thinnakara,
Cheriyam, and Suheli islands. There are small islets Kalpity, Parali 1 & 2,
which are nearby Agatti island.

As a great destination for water sports, one can engage in water sports like
Kayaking, Canoeing, Snorkeling, and Para Sailing. For adventures, there are
plenty of opportunities for Scuba diving. One may also visit local houses, the
Marine museum, Light House, and a few local industries. Read more about the
'History of Lakshadweep', and a brief ''History of Lakshadweep Tourism'', Etc.

Water Sports: Water Sports facilities like swimming, Rafting, snorkeling,
windsurfing, parasailing, water skiing, 'Yachting', catamaran sailing, deep-sea
fishing, and 'Scuba Diving' are available on the islands. ... Read more about
'Lakshadweep Adventures', and 'Island Excursions', or other activities.

The Maldives: Maldives – a dream destination famous for a thousand ‘Robinson
Crusoe’ islands, spread across the Indian Ocean. However, there is more to the
Maldives than just that. ...'Maldives'

Chagos Archipelago (Diego Garcia): The British Indian Ocean Territory lies to
the North East of Mauritius in the central Indian Ocean. The islands, which form

How Do Lakshadweep Tourism (SPORTS) Dishonestly Make
The Use Of Fake Invoices?

Fake invoice fraud occurs when fraudsters submit an invoice or other request for
payment that is not genuine. The fake or bogus invoice serves as a demand for
money and becomes a legal document after the transaction, causing a very
stressful and uncomfortable situation that the BUYER cannot escape from it. Read

The Massive Accounting Manipulation By Sports, A Nodal Agency Of
Lakshadweep Administration.

Recently, Sports, the nodal agency of Lakshadweep Administration for promotion
of tourism, had provided certain documents to a legal associate of 'MintValley
Tourism', under the Right To Information Act, (RTI Act, 2005). On scrutinizing
the documents a massive manipulation of accounts could be suspected under its
tour packages. This aspect, though it may sound out of our field of interest, we
are sure will be of care and concern to the authorities. Let´s Share
