Following demand from floating wind developers, EMEC is aiming to secure a lease
for the proposed test site ~20 km west of Orkney and provide a test bed with
representative metocean conditions to sites in #ScotWind, #CelticSeas and future
leasing rounds.

The concept includes four grid-connected berths as well as two berths reserved
for alternative applications such as hydrogen generation.  Stay
