PEONIES!

June 9, 2019

They might not last long in the garden but they sure outlast roses in the vase.

Peonies are on top of my very extensive list of favorite flowers. This year is
the first year that I have been able to photograph the ones in our garden
properly.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

KOREAN SPICE VIBURNUM

May 7, 2019

I’ve never paid much attention to this shrub. Didn’t think much of it while
walking by it over a hundred times.

It’s possibly because I’ve never seen it in spring or fall when it’s blooming
and fragrant.

Korean Spice Viburnum is native to Korea and Japan and comes from the Elderberry
family.

It comes in both small and medium sizes. Ranging from three to eight feet tall.

It looks and smells amazing. I recommend it to anyone who loves fragrant
flowers.

I could stand under it and photograph it all day because it smells so good!

I had a hard time picking my favorite images. I hope you will forgive me for the
heavy gallery below.

The sweet smell of Lilacs always takes me back to my childhood. it’s finally
spring and lilacs are in abundance. As with any plant I could photograph lilacs
for hours.

Here are some images from the past two weeks. I hope you enjoy them as much as I
enjoyed taking them.

CHERRY BLOSSOMS!

May 1, 2019

Spring is finally here. Everything is blooming. The grass got greener and the
bees are flying around.

It’s no secret that I love to photograph flowers so naturally I gravitate
towards the cherry trees.

I know I’m not the only one obsessing over their beauty. Here’s some of my
favorite shots.
