"THE TASTING TIPS" A RELAXED AND UNPRETENTIOUS WEB SERIES!
Introducing the latest creation from the Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB): a
surprising 6-episode web series, each about three minutes long, produced in both
French and English. You can watch it now on the "Vins de Bourgogne" Instagram
and Facebook pages. Presented by Maxime Dubois, who is a sommelier and an
official Bourgogne wine educator, this new series breaks down stereotypes and
demystifies the world of wine tasting. Each episode tackles a different theme in
a relaxed, humorous, and approachable style.

QANOPEE: INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF BOURGOGNE WINES
QANOPEE (QuArt NOrd-Est PrÉmultiplication collective: collective vineyard
pre-multiplication tool for the North East of France) is an innovative new
project for Bourgogne wines. Indeed, the quest for high-quality vines in perfect
health has led the three wine boards from the Beaujolais, Champagne, and
Bourgogne regions to invest in this project for the production of plant
material, grafts, and rootstocks in sealed, bioclimatic greenhouses.

USA : BOURGOGNE WHITE WINES ARE BACK IN THE LIMELIGHT
Despite a challenging environment in which US wine consumption is expected to
continue to decline at an annual rate of -2% (IWSR), Bourgogne wines managed to
regain some market share in the first half of 2024: +4.1% in volume and +8.2% in
sales compared to the first half of 2023.

IN A TENSE GLOBAL CONTEXT, BOURGOGNE WINES ARE HOLDING THEIR OWN
The 2023-2024 campaign, following the bountiful 2022 vintage, saw a return to
more typical conditions. The exceptionally generous 2023 vintage allowed for
significant replenishment of stocks, providing reassurance ahead of a 2024
vintage that is expected to yield lower volumes.
