REGISTRATION DETAILS

Registration closes on the 20th of September 2023
NPOs have to be registered with CIPC or DSD
Both Models and NPOs should be Joburg-based
Competition will run from 1 October to 31 October 2023
Winners will be announced on the 4th of November 2023

WHAT IS MISS JOBURG DIGITAL?

Miss Joburg Digital is an online pageant aimed at empowering models and
supporting non-profits. The competition leverages the Acalytica platform on
acalytica.com to raise funds and gain votes for models and their chosen
non-profits.

WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS COMPETITION?

The objectives are to:

Empower models by providing a platform to showcase themselves and raise funds.

Support non-profits through a revenue-sharing model.

Help models learn entrepreneurship, money management, and digital marketing
skills.


WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

To participate, a model must:

Be female
Have a beneficiary non-profit selected from a verified list of NPOs with pages
on Acalytica.

Have a South African bank account.

Provide proof of being based in Johannesburg.

Have access to the internet.

Possess an entrepreneurial spirit.


WHAT COUNTS AS PROOF OF BEING JOBURG BASED?

Proof can include, but is not limited to, a utility bill, ID, or other official
documents showing a Johannesburg address.


HOW IS THE REVENUE DISTRIBUTED?

The revenue is distributed as follows:

Model: 25%
Non-Profit: 30%
PR and Marketing Partners: 45%


HOW ARE WINNERS DETERMINED?

Winners are determined based on:

Fundraising: 40%
Voting: 40%
Traffic to the model's page: 20%


WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS?

Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.


CAN I BE DISQUALIFIED?

Yes, participants may be disqualified for providing false information, engaging
in fraudulent activities, or violating any of the terms and conditions.


WHAT LAWS GOVERN THIS COMPETITION?

The terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
