INCREDIBLE VALUE

I pulled the trigger on this shed when costco had a $500 off special on it.
but I have to say it is a value even at full price. I don't know how they
can provide all the parts to build this shed and deliver at this price. I
couldn't be happier with the result. I ended up hiring someone to help me
build it and it took us three days. It's the same old story, it would only
take two days on the next one. If there is any complaint, the siding is
fairly thin, but it is understandable at this price. One sheet of OSB came
damaged. I just bought one at HD and for the $25 didn't bother contacting
the manufacturer. I would purchase from Yardline again.

HORRIBLE MATERIALS!

Unless you want to spend your days in abject frustration DO NOT purchase
this shed. The materials are shoddy, warped and twisted. Board lengths are
not even, off by up to 3/16ths, try and square anything using these
materials, you'll want to use the nail on your head. Instead of providing 14
ft boards to run the length of the building you have to use 4 boards and
then attach them, wobbly mess much? After waiting almost 5 weeks for
delivery and completing the floor and back wall the hassle to return this
nightmare would be worse, so we'll finish with extra wood having been
purchased to have it done correctly. Buy prebuilt.

DON'T BUY IT!

Most of the dimensional lumber was bent, warped, twisted, or bowed, and the
material was not cut to the proper lengths, and not straight cuts on the
plywood. It's one thing to design a shed like this on computer-aided design
software, where there are no plus or minus tolerance problems, and a totally
different thing to have no quality control on the production and cutting of
cheap, garbage material. Also, there is no coordination on delivery between
Costco, the manufacturer, and/or the delivery truck driver -- stated 3 - 5
weeks delivery, but delivered within a week, so have the area ready. A
totally unacceptable experience.

CHEAP MATERIALS & TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Do Not purchase !!! very cheap materials & terrible service. We purchased
the Shed from Costco ($2300) on March 6th after arrived contacted Back Yard
product inquired installation service they charged $699 plus $50 drip edge
material, provided our own design shingles $(650). My husband and I
intervened 3 times noticed the installation is sloppy and incorrect
procedure follow but the techs keep on and rushed the job with dont care
attitudes nails in drip edge, . called back yard product filled compliant
and still have not get resolve yet. The Territory Manage not pleasant to
deal with I have to reach out to here boss to get thing look into...

I WAS GOING FOR CUTE AND WE GOT CUTE!

This was easy to put together. Didn’t use a saw once! Borrowed a framing
nailer from a neighbor which made this waaaay faster to throw up. Not
impressed with the nails it came with so we used higher quality ones in the
framing nailer. Worked SO well to paint the walls before putting them up
(esp the back wall that backs up to a fence.) Also, we painted the trim
across two sawhorses before putting it up. Made for a completely finished
and painted shed all at the same time. The only painters tape needed was on
the door. Smart! We’ve had multiple neighbors comment on how cute our shed
is. Window boxes and landscaping around coming soon!

GOOD KIT, SEVERAL BAD PARTS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This could have been a very good product if it wasn't for the many pieces of
wood that were warped or damaged. We had to replace several pieces. It is a
good kit with good building directions. We had mulitple problems with
shipping as well. We have reached out to Costco multiple times, the last
time I was on hold for 2 and a half hours waiting for a supervisor to assist
because the representative felt the need for reimbursement was greater than
what she could approve. She never found an available supervisor. No one has
called or emailed me back. It has been over a week. Very disappointed. It
was not worth the hassel.

GOOD SIZED SHED FOR THE MONEY

When the shed was delivered, it came wrapped and was 2 seperate packs, one
stacked on top of the other. When I opened the assembly instructions, the
first thing they tell you to put down is the floor. I had to unwrap and take
out every single piece of packaging/wood & everything else that came with
the shed to get to the last piece of flooring. It was on the very bottom of
the last pack. Really!! Surely they could have package it so the flooring
was on the top. I wasted a good couple of hours pulling everything out. So,
make sure you have plenty of space to work with before you start on this
shed. You could have pieces everywhere.

SHED KITS ARE LESS THAN IDEAL

I purchased this shed in June. It took a few weeks to arrive. Upon arrival I
found 12 missing items, one broken window, one 8x4 floor sheet damaged by a
forklift fork, and an unresponsive vendor. Backyard Products promised to
"quick ship" the window, which was a week ago. Still haven't seen it. We had
to go to our local lumber company and buy all the items which were missing
because the vendor couldn't get those items shipped by the end of this month
(July).
Many of the lumber pieces are shoddy and had to be replaced. I would suggest
finding plans online, buying your own lumber, cutting it to size, and
building your shed that way. This is far from the quality I expect from a
Costco product.
