GENERAL RULES



The committee will investigate any infractions, questions, or disputes of these
rules, and will determine if any action should be taken. The committee reserves
the right to change any rule at any time. Changes to the rules will be posted as
soon as possible on the web page and e-mail.

 * Grounds entry fee
   * A $10 camping fee has been introduced to help cover the grounds
     maintenance. A racer is permitted one camper, tent or RV etc with their
     race fees. Additional campers, tents or RVs etc will be required to pay the
     $10. 
   * All entrants to the grounds (whenever they arrive) will pay a ‘grounds
     entry fee’ of $10. If they enter the pits, a further ‘pit pass fee’ of $5
     fee will be charged.
   * A racer’s (principal driver only) grounds entry fee and pit pass fee are
     included in his registration (race class) fee.
   * Track workers will also pay both fees and will be issued a “Track Worker”
     coupon, which can be redeemed only after the race.
   * Track workers include recovery vehicle drivers, corner flag workers,
     registrars, PA announcer, video/camera men, lawn mowers,  pit boss, pit
     gate controllers, etc
   * If a racer arrives at the front gate on Sunday morning, after the front
     gates are manned, with a car on your trailer and 4 guys in the truck.
     Entrance gate workers will charge them $40. The pit gate controller charges
     them $20. The registrar charges the principal race car driver his race day
     class registration fee.
 * Alternate drivers & passengers
   * A vehicle will have listed one principal driver, and up to 4 alternate
     drivers.
   * All drivers (principal and alternate) must be society members at $40 each.
   * Alternate drivers can be signed up at any time, but before registration
     closes on race day.
   * The same alternate driver can be signed up for several vehicles for a
     single $40 society membership.
   * You can carry as many passengers in a day as you like.
   * Every passenger must be a society member at $20.
   * Passengers can be registered at any time, but before registration closes on
     race day.
   * Registered passengers can ride in any vehicle on any day.
 * Racers under the age of 18 years of age must have our waiver form signed by
   BOTH of the parents or guardians prior to racing. An absentee parent may send
   a notarized letter of permission.
 * ALL NOVICE drivers must be required to:
   * Use a rear facing flashing amber light for their first 4 races.
   * Use a clearly marked yellow rear bumper for their first 4 races.
   * Comply the first day race out only to:
   * Run 5 solo hot laps and be evaluated by the committee in order to
     participate.
   * Start at the back of the pack in both heats.
   * Choose to start the main in his earned position.
   * Have the option that no alternate driver or passenger is required.

Only the vehicle earns points. Drivers with no experience racing can get
permission from the committee to race in a lower class even if their vehicle
exceeds that class’s maximum limitations. The committee will give a one race
notice to move up a class when the driver meets committee’s approval, and when
the driver proves he is safe to do so.


SAFETY RULES



These rules apply to all classes unless otherwise stated. Please come prepared
to race safely.

Personal Protective Gear:

 1. Helmets must be certified to one or more of the following standards:
    * Snell Memorial Foundation SA 2005 or better with a legible Snell sticker
      attached.
    * SFI Spec 31.1/2005 with a legible SFI sticker attached.
    * FIA 8868 with a legible FIA sticker attached
 2. Eye Protection: Face shield or shatterproof goggles for each occupant.
 3. Protective Clothing: A SFI approved fire suit in good condition is required
    for each occupant. Fire resistant or leather gloves and boots, and neck
    collars arerecommended but not necessary.

Vehicle Safety:
Workmanship: All construction and preparations must be performed in a good
workmanship manner subject to the approval of the tech inspector.

LIMITED LITE RULES



All rules and required safety equipment as outlined in the general safety rules
must be followed. This is an entry level class. All vehicles must adhere to
tech, or will be bumped to Pro Lite or Outlaw. This will be strictly enforced.


COMPETITION REGULATIONS

These are the only modifications permitted in this class. Unless otherwise
stated, all parts/pieces must remain in their factory position. Please read all
rules carefully.

REQUIRED:

A. Frame and Body:

 1.  Two wheel drive production frame mini trucks.
 2.  Radiator must be in stock location and functioning.
 3.  Stock axles and brakes must be used front and rear.
 4.  The manufacturer’s chassis and body must be retained as well as the
     original wheel base.
 5.  Frames must be stock: no lengthening, narrowing or removing of material is
     allowed** You may strengthen the frame as required. 
 6.  The body must keep its stock appearance, the body must stay in its stock
     location on the frame and all internal body structural members must be
     intact.
 7.  The windshield, door windows, rear window and tailgate must be removed.
 8.  The cab must be stock and no welded metal can be removed other than
     outlined in the fender trimming.
 9.  Badly rusted bodies and frame may be rejected.
 10. Batteries must be located in the bed of the truck.
