CHRIS AULDS PEARL ENERGY INVESTMENTS OPERATING PARTNER Chris Aulds is a co-Founder and operating partner of Pearl Energy Investments. Founded in 2015, Pearl is an energy private equity firm based in Dallas, TX with over $1.2 billion of capital under management. Prior to Pearl, Chris was one of the Co-Founders and Co-CEOs of TEAK Midstream from its formation in 2009 until its successful $1 billion sale in May 2013. Prior to TEAK, Chris was also one of the Co-Founders of Crosstex Energy Services (known today as Enlink Midstream), where he served in numerous executive positions from the time of its inception in 1996 until he stepped down from the company in 2007 to pursue personal interests. Chris has more than 36 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including time as Vice President of gas supply and marketing at Comstock Natural Gas from 1994 until 1996, Vice President in charge of gas supply, marketing, and business development for Victoria Gas Corporation from 1990 until 1994, as well as Sr. Gas Purchasing Representative at Mobil Natural Gas Inc. Chris began his career as a Field Operations Engineer with Mobil Oil Corporation in 1985. Chris has served as a board member and Secretary of the Dallas Petroleum Club and is a current member of the Dallas Wildcat Committee. He also served 4 years as a member of the Texas Tech Foundation Board and was on the Executive Committee of the Texas Tech Foundation Board his last year. He is a current member of the Petroleum Advisory Board for the Texas Tech University Petroleum Engineering Department as well on the Executive Committee of the Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board. He was inducted into the Texas Tech University Petroleum Engineering Academy in 2008. Chris was also recently named a Distinguished Engineer by the Whitacre College of Engineering at Texas Tech University. Chris has a Petroleum Engineering Scholarship in his name to provide financial assistance to incoming Petroleum Engineering students at Texas Tech University. Chris graduated in 1984 from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. * DANIELLE BARRS EISNERAMPER DIRECTOR OF ESG STRATEGIC PLANNING Danielle Barrs is the director of ESG strategic planning at EisnerAmper. She has more than 10 years of experience in environmental management, sustainable business, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social and governance (ESG). She works with privately held and publicly traded organizations in a variety of industries. She also has experience serving Fortune 500 companies, NGOs and governmental organizations. Barrs works with clients to solve key variables in the sustainability equation, including carbon emissions, energy efficiency, clean energy, ESG performance, capital investment and societal impact. She develops enterprise climate and sustainability objectives for clients that align with each company’s overall vision, leadership and corporate strategy by assessing her clients’ current state, developing a tailored, long-term sustainability roadmap and guiding them through the implementation process. Prior to joining the firm, Barrs was the head of global energy and GHG strategy for a Fortune 200 manufacturing company and managed all energy-related initiatives more than 100 facilities in more than 30 countries worldwide —from RFPs to project management, budget forecasts, ESG KPIs and CSR reporting. * ANN BLUNTZER, PH.D TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, NEELEY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS TCU RALPH LOWE ENERGY INSTITUTE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Dr. Ann Bluntzer is currently an associate professor of professional practice for TCU’s Neeley School of Business. She teaches in the department of management and leadership, primarily focusing on curriculum in the geopolitics of the energy sector, transformational leadership, business ethics and the non-profit management space. She was recently appointed as the executive director of the TCU Ralph Lowe Energy Institute. Bluntzer has taught leadership and management courses to various higher education institutions for over 20 years to include: University of South Carolina, Texas A&M University, University of Jakarta, Austin Business College and Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She is president and founder of The Agrarian, a strategic consulting business that specializes in land/real estate conservation and development, with notable clients such as The Nature Conservancy, United States Department of Agriculture, United States Department of Education, United States Agency for International Development, United States Marine Corps, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She has also served in executive leadership positions with various nonprofit organizations globally. Bluntzer began her career serving in the Foreign Agriculture Service, for the United States Department of State. Some of her assignments included Poland, Lithuania, Indonesia and Australia. She holds a Ph.D in organizational management and education administration from the University of South Carolina, a master’s of education in leadership and international studies and a bachelor’s of science in agricultural development from Texas A&M University. * NATHAN BRAWN BP ENERGY PARTNERS MANAGING PARTNER Nathan Brawn is a Managing Director at BP Energy Partners, a Dallas, TX based growth-oriented private equity firm focused on investments in infrastructure, environmental services, energy distribution, and energy-oriented technologies that promote a lower carbon future. BPEP places a particular emphasis on making investments that enable a practical transition to a sustainable, responsible, and resilient energy complex. Brawn has direct investing experience across the energy and industrial landscape including power, upstream, midstream, renewables, software, environmental services, and chemicals. He works extensively with portfolio company management teams to guide corporate strategy, evaluate capital investments, and create scalable processes to support growth. Brawn currently serves on the board of Context Labs, a blockchain-enabled software platform that provides real-time, digitally quantified ESG performance, Encino Environmental Services, a provider of environmental regulatory compliance and emissions monitoring solutions, Cryopeak LNG Solutions, a lower carbon fuel and solutions provider to industrial users, and Leading Edge Power, a provider of lower emission distributed electric generation. Mr. Brawn received a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Babson College. * ANDRES CABADA HALLIBURTON CO. DIRECTOR OF STEWARDSHIP AND SUSTAINABILITY Andres Cabada is the Director of Global Stewardship and Sustainability at Halliburton. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s sustainability strategy and execution, as well as environmental and chemical compliance. Over the past decade, he has served in a wide range of roles for the company, including functional leadership of asset management across the business, strategy and product management for the Production Enhancement business line, M&A and supply chain. Cabada holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. * BRIAN CAIN CIVITAS RESOURCES CHIEF SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER Brian Cain is Chief Sustainability Officer for Civitas Resources. Prior to this role, Mr. Cain was Vice President of External Affairs and ESG Policy for Extraction Oil & Gas where he directed government and community relations outreach, served as company spokesperson and implemented the company’s peer-leading ESG policy. Prior to Extraction, Mr. Cain served as Vice President, Energy Practice, for Hill & Knowlton Strategies, where he advised several of the world’s largest energy companies on public policy issues, media and crisis strategy. Mr. Cain had previously served in global spokesperson and political advocacy roles for Anadarko Petroleum and Chevron Phillips. He began his career as a journalist and holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Tulane University. * CHRISTOPHER DILLMAN PRAX GROUP HEAD OF ESG AND ENERGY TRANSITION Christopher Dillman is the Head of ESG and Energy Transition for the Prax Group in the Americas. He has been focused on actionable decarbonization strategies and renewable fuels across multiple industry verticals. Christopher has been on the forefront in North America’s oil and gas industry in executing several first-of-its-kind sustainability linked commercial structures. Prior to joining Prax, Christopher spent 14 years in multiple trading, marketing and commercial roles at Vitol and on Wall Street. Christopher received an MBA with an Energy Specialization from the University of Oklahoma and Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Gettysburg College. * JOHN DURAND XRI HOLDINGS LLC PRESIDENT AND CHIEF SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER John Durand is president and chief sustainability officer for XRI, overseeing XRI’s commercial planning, sustainability, corporate development and governmental relations. Prior to joining XRI, Durand was a founding partner of WaterBridge Resources LLC, where he served as president and chief operating officer. Before that, he served on the management team and startup of Pioneer Water Management LLC, where he oversaw the company’s commercial, logistical and supply sourcing functions. In addition to his role at XRI, Durand serves on the board of the Energy ESG Council as well as serving on both the board of directors and the executive committee of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Produced Water Society where he serves on its technical committee. Additionally, he serves on the Environment and Safety Committee of the IPAA and on the Energy Advisory Board for the University of Texas at Dallas. His career spans more than three decades of upstream, midstream and downstream experience in the oil, gas and water sectors, along with experience in the development and construction of natural gas and renewable energy power projects. Notably, he has negotiated landmark public/private partnership agreements in the water space with three Texas municipalities (Midland, Odessa and Fort Stockton). Durand holds an MBA in corporate finance from the University of Dallas and a bachelor's of science degree in petroleum land management from the University of Louisiana. * EMILY EASLEY NOVUS ENERGY ADVISORS CEO Building on her Texas oil & gas roots and an almost two-decade-long career in the renewable energy and power businesses, Emily founded NOVUS Energy Advisors, an independent consulting firm offering strategic services across the energy and cleantech industries, to offer a bridge between the traditional and alternative energy markets. The company’s unique combination of deep industry knowledge and extensive network across the renewable energy, oil, gas, and utility industries enables clients to seize opportunities for growth and profitability, capitalizing on the transition to a lower-carbon future. Previously, Emily worked with midstream and exploration & production companies at ERE Strategies, a renewable energy consulting practice. Her clients consisted of oil & gas fund managers and midstream service companies, where she spearheaded their efforts to identify growth strategies in the renewable energy space, including project acquisition, deal-flow, fundraising, and strategic counsel on new markets and partnership. Emily was then recruited as CEO by client, Foundation Energy Management, to launch NOVUS Clean Energy from the ground up to build out a clean energy investment vehicle for their Limited Partners. Prior to ERE Strategies, Emily spent a decade working with Washington, D.C.-based national clean energy associations, Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Association (SEPA). She was charged with successfully driving, developing and generating membership revenue on behalf of the organizations. During her tenure, she managed seven-figure budgets, cultivated thousands of corporate relationships across the power and renewable energy industries, and increased sales to drive exponential growth. Additionally, Emily worked with organizational leadership to create membership vehicles and products, fundamental to the exponential growth of the organization. She has provided strategic counsel and investor services across the energy industry, leveraging her unique experience across the renewable, energy storage, oil & gas, distributed generations, and regulated and unregulated power markets. Emily graduated magna cum lade from Vanderbilt University with a focus on business and organizational leadership, and currently resides in Virginia with her family. * LISA EPIFANI CHEVRON CORP. MANAGER FOR ESG AND SUSTAINABILITY Lisa Epifani is the Manager for ESG and Sustainability in Chevron’s Strategy and Sustainability group. The ESG and Sustainability team manages Chevron’s engagement with investors and other stakeholders on ESG issues. In addition, the team advises Chevron’s executives and the Board on ESG trends and stakeholder expectations; leads Chevron’s ESG reporting activities; and coordinates the subject matter experts across Chevron on ESG matters. Lisa joined Chevron in 2014 as the Manager of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs (LRA) in Chevron’s Corporate Affairs group. Prior to joining Chevron, Lisa was a partner with the Van Ness Feldman Law Firm in Washington, D.C. and served in various governmental roles developing energy policy and strategy. She was appointed by President George W. Bush and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Assistant Secretary for the Department of Energy’s Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. Lisa also served at the White House on the National Economic Council as a Special Assistant to President George W. Bush covering energy and environmental issues. Lisa was Counsel on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee under then-Chairman Domenici. Lisa received a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School in 1997 and a Bachelor of Arts in the Plan II Honors Program from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. She was a Marshall Memorial Fellow in 2009. * SEAN FLYNN CONTINENTAL RESOURCES INC. SENIOR DIRECTOR OF HSE * CHRIS GOULD CALIFORNIA RESOURCES CORP. EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER Chris Gould is California Resources Corp.’s first-ever executive vice president and chief sustainability officer. For the past decade, he has served as senior vice president of corporate strategy and chief innovation and sustainability officer of a Fortune 100 energy company. In this role he built and led the company’s overall climate/ESG programs, including the development of climate mitigation and adaptation transition plans. Gould also has extensive experience in energy trading, finance, strategic planning and technology innovation focused on decarbonization. His commitment to sustainability and the environment has been reflected throughout his career, beginning with his early engineering focus on environmental remediation, his service as a trustee on the board of a global environmental conservation non-profit, and his work to commercialize innovative decarbonization technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Penn State University and an MBA. from the University of Pittsburgh. * KEILA AIRES HAND QUANTUM ENERGY PARTNERS HEAD OF ESG Keila Aries Hand leads Quantum’ Energy Partners’ (QEP) ESG program strategy, ensuring its successful integration throughout the investment lifecycle and focusing on management of ESG material risks through implementation of continuous improvement of portfolio companies. Prior to joining QEP, she was director of global sustainability and regulatory affairs at Crown Holdings, where she was responsible for the development, implementation and communication of the company’s global ESG strategy, as well as ESG regulatory affairs. Prior to Crown Holdings, she was director of environmental sustainability, Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa for PepsiCo. She has also held senior sustainability positions at World Wildlife Fund, International Paper Company and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. He has over 30 years of operations and leadership experience in oilfield services, power, utility and private equity sectors Herndon previously served as CEO of Quintana Energy Services and held leadership positions with Reliant Energy and PSE&G. His current focus is on upstream emissions reduction and utility transition planning. Klenner has over 11 years of experience in R&D and innovation in the geothermal, oil & gas, emissions management and CCUS industries. She specializes in analysis of oil and gas company finances, operational benchmarking and ESG. Prior to joining Rystad Energy, she worked as a market data consultant covering the global investment banks in London. Alisa holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev and an master’s degree in finance from Hult International Business School in London. * IAN NIEBOER ENVERUS MANAGING DIRECTOR Ian Nieboer is a managing director in Enverus’ ESG business and also leads Enverus’ Global (International) Energy Analytics business. Prior to these roles he was a publishing analyst and managing director for Enverus’ Intelligence team, where he helped investors and asset owners navigate the energy market. Over his career he has covered operators and assets (both conventional and unconventional) across North America and around the Atlantic rim. He focuses on the development and application of technologies that measure and reduce methane emissions from upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities, overseeing the development of novel methane technologies and working with operators to design and implement methane monitoring and reduction campaigns. He also works with regulators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and academics to advance methane technology. Drew has a background in chemistry and 15 years of industry experience. Prior to focusing on methane, he worked in research and in venture capital, focusing on wireline logging. Drew holds a doctorate from Stanford University and has co-authored 100 peer-reviewed publications and received 25 granted U.S. patents. * DEREK PRZYBYLO EY ESG DIGITAL SERVICES LEAD Derek has fifteen years’ of experience providing environmental, health and safety (EHS) and environmental, social and governance (ESG) data management and analytics services to large public and private organizations across ever sector. He leads EY ESG relationships with technology alliance firms, such as Microsoft and Enablon, and has significant experience helping companies design and deploy innovative technology solutions to manage ESG reporting and operationalize sustainability. * BOB PURGASON ENLINK MIDSTREAM LLC MANAGING DIRECTOR OF CARBON SOLUTIONS Robert “Bob” Purgason is an energy industry leader and Managing Director of Carbon Solutions at EnLink Midstream. Purgason joined EnLink in March 2022, bringing extensive industry experience in growing new business lines and excellent industry relationships, both of which will help EnLink grow its carbon capture, transportation and sequestration business. In his role of Managing Director of Carbon Solutions, he provides unique insights into the transition to a lower carbon intensity world. His background and experience are key to understanding the opportunities facing EnLink and its customers. Purgason brings over 40 years of experience in operations, business development and finance in the energy industry, including five years at Crosstex Energy, the predecessor of EnLink, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Rockcliff Mr. Wurfel was the VP of HSE and Sustainability at Indigo Minerals, where he helped take the company to Carbon Neutrality in 2021, and worked on an emissions Quantification, Monitoring, Recordkeeping, and Verification of Methane Emissions project with Cheniere Energy. Before Indigo, Mr. Wurfel was the Manager of HSE for Eagleford Operations for Talisman, and VP of HSE and Regulatory Affairs for Chief Oil and Gas in the Marcellus. Mr. Wurfel has also worked for KN Energy, and Tenneco. Mr. Wurfel is a Professional Engineer, has his MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, and has started and sold his own Air Consulting firm. In unrelated fields, Mr. Wurfel has also been a fireman, led a Squad of Infantrymen during Operation Desert Storm, and has been a member of The Old Guard, the Army’s Official Ceremonial Unit and Escort to the President.
