WELCOME TO TRANSLUNAR ACADEMY
Translunar Academy is a space colony in an Earth-Moon L2 planar Lyapunov orbit.
It is a cylinder-type colony with an average circumference of 1.312km, which
rotates at around 1.2RPM to simulate gravity of around 0.3G. TLA began operation
in 2238 as a technopath academy, training qualified Autistic candidates to
become cyborgs adept at conscious manipulation of computer systems.
This Akkoma instance represents Translunar Academy on the 21st century
fediverse. It is a space for Autistic, neurodivergent people, trans people,
plural systems, cyberpunks, cyborgs, transhumanists, anarchists, queer people,
and other interesting sorts who need a home on the fediverse. It is especially,
but not exclusively, a space for fans of the Ætherverse fictional setting
chronicled at translunar.academy.
This instance is a new project of translunar.academy, and currently membership
is by invitation only. If you like what you see, you can ask Winter for an
invitation.
You can also join the Ætherverse community on matrix (#TLA:cybre.space) or
Discord, they are bridged.

TLA REGULATIONS
1. This is an antifascist, anti-racist instance. No racism, misogyny,
transphobia, transmisogyny, homophobia, ableism, saneism, antisemitism,
islamophobia, xenophobia, ageism, or any other form of prejudice against
marginalized people will be tolerated. However, reclaimed slurs and punching
up is perfectly acceptable, don't bother reporting it.
2. Sexually explicit or graphic content should be marked as sensitive. No
sexual content about or directed at minors.
3. No content illegal in the United States. Fedi is not a secure platform and
we do not talk about crimes on unsecure platforms.
4. No harassment, including dogpiling, intentional misgendering, misusing block
notification bots, screenshotting users here without consent, stalking, etc.
However, users may freely respond to harassment directed at them.
5. This instance operates on antifascist principles. No fascist imagery or
content normalizing fascism. No fashjacketing or otherwise spreading
unsubstantiated malicious rumors is tolerated. Snitches get stitches. Don't
act like cops.
6. If someone asks to stop communication or stop a conversation, please respect
that.
7. Don't make us need to add more rules
FEDERATION POLICY
We prefer reserving defederation for outright fascists and other dangerous sorts
of instances, and want to resolve minor conflicts diplomatically. If you have a
problem with us, reach out and let's talk about it. We're never going to build a
better world by continually reinventing cops.
Our block list and MRF policies are not visible, and federation decisions are
our users' business only. We would like to be transparent but we know from
experience that it is a recipe for harassment.
