Throughout my life, art making has provided a powerful and sensitive way for me
to respond to nature, relationship and place in a way that has expanded my
awareness and experience.  The joyful and challenging process of creating images
has added dimension and interest to life.  I am deeply interested in the healing
aspects of art making and its inherent communicative and transformational
qualities.

I enjoy the unique qualities of varied media in my work, including the precise
lines of ink or colored pencil on paper to the unexpected flow and pigment
blends of watercolor and pastel to the fun of acrylic and paper collage on
canvas.

The subjects that capture my interest are often nature-based and symbolic of my
personal insights and discoveries!

Illustrating or painting for play, creating art illuminates observation and
reflection.  It enhances and allows me to celebrate my experience!
