WE'RE KEEPING UP THE LEGAL PRESSURE ON THE UK GOVERNMENT TO STOP ARMS EXPORTS
Our emergency court action, as part of our case with Al-Haq against the
government, to end arms exports to Israel lead to the announcement that the
government has suspended weapons for use in Gaza and the West Bank, but excluded
F-35 parts for the global programme, allowing components to reach Israel
indirectly. This must stop.

WE WON: World Uyghur Congress and GLAN won our High Court fight to stop forced

Youth4ClimateJustice: The European Court of Human Rights issued a landmark
ruling in the case brought by a group of Senior Swiss Women, which was linked to
ours - that government failure to rapidly cut emissions is a violation of human
rights.
FOCUS AREAS
GLAN and CAN-Europe have taken legal action against the European Commission,
challenging the inadequacy of EU emissions targets set for Member States. EU
2030 emissions targets would result in 3°C of global heating.
Stopping UK Arms Exports to Israel: New hearing on 18 November after we forced a
partial suspension of UK arms exports! Our case with Al-Haq is supported with
interventions by Oxfam GB, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International UK and
expert witness statemetaccepted by the court.
