JOB DESCRIPTION

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 * Requirements-gathering, architecting, and designing infrastructure systems
   and tools
 * Developing software systems in Ruby, Javascript, SQL or whatever tool is
   right for the job
 * Integrating with various tools and technologies such as Docker, MySQL,
   Redshift
 * Developing platforms and frameworks to automate business and technology
   processes
 * Collaborating with various internal teams across the business including
   development, DevOps, and data
   engineering teams

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION

 * 3-5 years of experience in software development
 * Experience in the design of libraries and software systems
 * Strong command of a backend language such as Ruby, Python, or Go
 * Familiarity with existing open-source software packages and the DevOps
   toolchain
 * Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms
 * Be an analytical thinker with exceptional problem solving skills
 * Ability to work independently with minimal direction
