There are a few reasons why you might not be able to make or receive calls. * Minutes or Service Plan has expired * A weak or no signal * Airplane Mode is on Minutes or Service Plan has expired If your minutes or your service plan has expired, you will need to add time/services back to your phone before you will be able to make receive calls. If you're not sure, click Check Usage / Due Date below to use our automated system. Check Usage / Due Date If you've recently refilled services, or reactivated your phone, it could take a few minutes for our systems to update. You can try turning Airplane Mode on for a minute and then turning it back off. Please try moving to different locations to see if the signal strength improves. Have you tried to remove and reinsert your SIM card? A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is a small "smartcard" that contains a unique identification number and stores subscriber profile information. SIM cards contain information about the subscriber's plans and network features. If the SIM card is not programmed properly, damaged, or removed, it prevents operation of the intended device. Have you attempted to reseat the SIM card? Please take the SIM card out (use Tray Eject Tool if needed) and restart the phone. Insert the SIM card again. Have you attempted to place your SIM card in any other device of the same carrier? Use another device of the same make and model to test SIM recognition issue. Did you check the copper contacts on the SIM card? If there is damage to the contacts, you may need a replacement SIM card. Does the SIM tray or SIM slot have any damage? Inspect that there are no missing or broken pieces on the SIM tray. Have you attempted to reboot the device? Try turning your device off, then back on again. Is there any physical or liquid damage? If yes, then you will need to contact the manufacturer for service. Have you attempted to wipe the cache partition? Try wiping the cache partition. Have you performed a Factory Data Reset?
