GIGGING

 * Began gigging professionally in 1972.  
 * More than 6,000 professional performances since 1972.
 * Audiences ranging in size from a few dozen to more than 10,000, at venues
   varying from intimate private home concerts to major arenas and concert
   halls.

 


TEACHING

 * Over forty-five years experience teaching private piano lessons.
 * Since 1999 over 300 students taught, with an average student retention of
   five years.
 * Multiple students have continued their studies as collegiate music majors
   upon high school graduation.
 * Methodology uses a proprietary pedagogy: teaching students to play songs
   immediately as well as standard pedagogy.

 


QUALIFICATIONS

 * Bachelor of Music, Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA 
 * Master of Science, Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Music
   Education, Education Psychology, & Learning Technologies, University of North
   Texas, Denton, TX 
 * Private piano studies with Mrs. Lillian Stewart, John Arcaro (Berklee College
   of Music), Mike Marra
 * Private piano/jazz studies with world renowned jazz educator Charlie
   Banacos. 
 * Three years of songwriting studies with Pat Pattison, member of Pat's private
   songwriting circle, Boston, 1995 - 98. 
 * ProTools Certified
