Welcome to the PCM-ACStore Project



The PCM-ACStore project, funded by Innovate UK, is developing an innovative air
conditioning system that combines Phase Change Materials (PCM) with solar
energy.



The goal is to create a sustainable cooling solution for residential and
commercial use, with a focus on reducing carbon emissions, particularly in
warmer climates like Nigeria.

OUR TEAM





Our project brings together a team of world leading experts, which include PCM
Products Ltd, the University of Nottingham, and Rubitec Solar, each contributing
specialised knowledge to innovate sustainable cooling systems.



PCM Products Ltd leads the charge with their extensive expertise in Phase Change
Materials (PCM) for thermal energy storage. The University of Nottingham
provides cutting-edge research and development, while Rubitec offers insights
into solar power solutions, particularly suited to Nigeria’s climate. Together,
we are driving the PCM-ACStore project towards energy-efficient and sustainable
cooling solutions.
