What is AI contract review?
AI contract review is the use of artificial intelligence techniques (like
natural language processing and machine learning) to help review legal
documents. At Zuva, we primarily focus on (1) using AI to pull data out of
contracts, and (2) using that data to further automate business and legal
processes. This allows in-house legal professionals to automate repetitive
aspects of their contract review process, making it faster, cheaper, and more
accurate.
Does Zuva use generative AI for contract review?
Zuva uses a variety of AI techniques, including Generative AI, to convert
contracts into data. Specifically, we layer generative AI on top of machine
learning results to interpret contracts, for example by providing structured
answers to questions you may have about a contract.
So, if you’d like to know if a contract automatically renews at the end of its
term, you can use our “Does the agreement automatically review?” Answers field
which will return the answer as well as evidence to support its decision.
