Interlock Mesh Pony Fly Turnout Sheet
Stops the Sun's Rays
Comfortable, soft opaque 300D polyester mesh prevents sun damage by protecting
80% from harmful UV rays. This fly sheet provides maximum coverage all while
staying cool in direct sunlight. The interlock mesh allows for better air flow
while providing better insect protection against biting flies. Interlock mesh is
interwoven for strength and is durable for light play. Nylon lined shoulder to
prevent rubbing and extended gussets for freedom of movement.
This was purchased for our new paint pony and I personally think fly sheets are
an EXTREMELY important thing to provide for our horses. Not only does it prevent
irritating fly bites but it also protects against sunburn while out in the
pasture.

at the withers to prevent rubbing where the sheet meets the mane.
Criss-Cross Surcingle Stays in Place
Criss-cross surcingles adjust to keep the fly sheet from sliding side to side.
Comes with locking bands and detachable elastic leg straps for increased
security. Brass plated hardware resists corrosion from fly sprays and

Nice and soft, love that the belly is covered, keeps my horses comfortable and
the material is airy so they don't sweat as much on those super hot days as in
some other flysheets that are available. Easy to wash and it dries super fast.

So far so good! Only a four star rating because unfortunately after only about a
weeks worth of wear the stitching on the tail flap is starting to come apart.
The pony who wears this sheet is gentle on blankets so has to be a
manufacturer's problem.

Heavier weight sheet. I only had it on my gelding for about a week, and it
seemed to be nice and durable. It's as adjustable as any horse blanket with the
leg straps. I do like that the shoulders are more protected from hair loss, my
horse hasn't worn his long enough to find out. As I said I don't think it is
lightweight enough for our summer heat (100's) during the day, but maybe for the
evening/overnight hours would be fine. Also may be very nice to have if the
horse can stand in front of a fan or in a less hot environment.

electricity with the fly sheets but if you are in a drier climate it could be
possible. If you are apprehensive, you can spray your horse with Show Sheen to

blanket over the fly sheet, as it would make your horse extremely hot in the
summer heat. We have the Mosquito Mesh sheets that have a window screen type
material, are very cool, keep out most all insects and it does have a 2 year
