PERSONAL STATEMENT


“OPENING THE DOOR TO MY; HEART, MIND & SOUL”



I live to find the passion hidden in even total trivia. Refusing to budge an
inch unless inspired, and a complete dynamo the moment I feel the familiar glow
of being able to see the “play” in the work. I am an adventurer to the core. And
once thus charged, I am capable of demonstrating an amazingly huge and eclectic
repertoire of talents, which at times seem almost intuitive.

FILTER WHICH PICKS UP ONLY THE INTERESTING” IN ANYTHING”


“I LOOK AT MYSELF AS AN EARTHLING ON PLANET EARTH. IT HAS SO MANY WONDERFUL
EXTREMES. BECAUSE EARTH IS MY HOME, I FEEL LIKE I AM AS BIG AS IT IS AND AS
SMALL AS A GRAIN OF SAND”

I call myself ‘a man of the earth’. I realised at my early age that food and
farming is my future.

I started farming on my own, with no knowledge, experience and funds to support,
just a ton of passion – the one thing which provided me with the inspiration and
motivation needed to become an ‘innovative risk-taking farmer’. 

I have become a little closer to the earth and to me and I see the external
world as a direct reflection of my inner world.

I am a meeting point of paradoxes, a combination of opposites; both positive and
brooding, a total non-traditionalist, completely buried in tradition, a naturist
if anything, who thrives on technology, a modern conservative or a conservative
modernist, above all, an adventurer to the core.



My personal value comes from internal emotions that are selfless, transparent
experience that enriches not only myself but the things I create.

I have paid dearly for depth, for being able to show compassion and understand
that my value as a person is on an equal basis as the starving child on this
earth.

The greatest chance I can take as human being to take down my internal borders
and to realize that fame or fortunes have nothing to do with my personal value.

Life is beautiful and always exactly as beautiful as we make it to be. We don’t
need more things. We need to give more because that is the only thing that
really fills that empty feeling inside.

“WHAT DO WE NEED THAT WE DON'T HAVE? HOW CAN WE REALIZE OUR POTENTIAL? WHAT WILL
IT TAKE TO SOLVE IMPORTANT PROBLEMS AND IMPROVE PEOPLE'S LIVES? WHAT SHOULD
EXIST, AND HOW MIGHT WE CREATE IT - RIGHT NOW”

I have always been captivated by new ideas that answer these questions. From
technology to science to music to art and culture to religion, I’m inspired by
those who’ve blurred the boundaries, who’ve looked at the possibilities, and
said, “What if…?” ..In my own work, I’ve tried to anticipate what’s coming over
the horizon, to hasten its arrival, and to apply it to people’s lives in a
meaningful way.

I have always found it impossible to draw a line between my work and me.
Everything I do is a part of who I am. In order to keep myself alive I have to
constantly evolve.

I have to be able to be like a chameleon, to absorb all that is around me and
reflect it within. After that I can be like a projector of what I have
experienced internally as the conscience of the external experience.



I have become a little closer to the earth and to me and I see the external
world as a direct reflection of my inner world.

I see my little world that I move and breath within reflected in the entire
world. Everything that happens in the world outside me is moving within me and I
am moving with everything that is happening within the world.

All I do is for everyone, especially those, who don’t think they care for art
and culture. I don’t make what I make for me but for you and me. By making
something that someone will eventually experience I will become part of that
person and that person will become a part of me. That is my reward for taking
the leap for being me by all possible means.



Perhaps one of the greatest abilities of the human is the fact we dream and we
follow our dreams. We have visions and we follow them. Sometimes we lack the
understanding of why we want to follow those dreams and visions and get stuck
within a principle.

I feel blessed to have acquired so much experience, so many failures and so many
tragedies, not that I want any more but if there are more, I see myself as clay
and it will mould me again into something new and thus, I will have more to give
because I have been so many things.  Life is beautiful and always exactly as
beautiful as we make it to be. We don’t need more things. We need to give more
because that is the only thing that really fills that empty feeling inside.
