OHIO’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE WAS 3.6% IN NOVEMBER, UNCHANGED FROM OCTOBER

Ohio's unemployment rate was 3.6% in November 2023, unchanged from October.
Ohio’s nonagricultural wage and salary employment decreased 5,300 over the
month, from a revised 5,658,600 in October to 5,653,300 in November.

NEW VIRTUAL ASSISTANTS GIVE QUICK ANSWERS TO OHIOANS’ BENEFITS QUESTIONS

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Ohio Departments of Job and Family Services (ODJFS),
Administrative Services (DAS), and Medicaid (ODM) have teamed up to offer two
new virtual assistants, Carey and EVA, designed to provide fast, helpful
information about Medicaid, food and cash assistance, child care assistance,
state hearings, and more.
