Pursuant to the Governor of California’s proclamation of a state of emergency
and executive order N-25-0 and in compliance with the recommendations of the
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regarding protecting the public
health and to help slow the transmission of COVID-19, California approved AHERA
training providers are now authorized to conduct all refresher training courses
via teleconferencing or other electronic methods. This authorization will be in
effect until the Governor ends the state of emergency. This applies to our CDPH
Lead programs, as well as HAZWOPER and EH&S.

NATEC continues to partner with our clients to find valuable resources to
protect your students, contractors, and self during this unprecedented time. We
will work with you to find solutions to help you during this season. There are
many options available and through partnering we can get through this as a
united front.

NATEC International, Inc.'s COVID-19 regulations regarding mask wearing remain
in effect. Our team will continue to look into potential updates as CalOSHA,
CDPH, and State of CA make changes. Changes will be announced here should NATEC
International, Inc. change the mask mandated. As for now, protections adopted in
November 2020 continue to apply, as well as NATEC's SOP.

In light of the recent events concerning the COVID-19, NATEC International, Inc.
has been spending countless hours to find a solution to support our clients’

community. After endless hours over the last two weeks, NATEC International,
Inc. is excited to announce we have partnered with CDPH and CalOSHA to offer
virtual training effective immediately!

NATEC International, Inc. is the first (and only to-date) approved Accredited
CDPH Lead training provider to offer live, virtual accredited lead training. In
addition, as of today, we have partnered with Cal OSHA to provide the accredited
Asbestos Refresher courses, via virtual training. We have further expanded these
options into many of our other training courses as well.

We at NATEC International, Inc. understand the pressing urgency to protect our
students, employees, instructors, and loved ones’ health. We have been working
around the clock to offer and create solutions to our community to do so. It is

THE EPA LEAD: RENOVATION, REPAIR, AND PAINTING RULE (RRP)

The EPA has ruled that "Dust from renovations, repairs, and surface preparation
during painting activities creates potential lead hazards when lead-based paint
is disturbed and lead-safe work practices are not used." The EPA now requires
certification for renovation firms, and training and certification for
renovators to prevent lead poisoning resulting from unsafe renovation practices.
